I bought a pair of this style 3+ years ago and I wear them all day, everyday so naturally they are beginning to lose their cushion and are getting worn looking. I decided to order a replacement pair since I love them so much. Unfortunately the quality is not the same. They do not seem to have as much cushion or support and the straps also do not appear to be as sturdy. I kept them because I really needed a new pair. I wish Teva would make this style without the back strap so they would be easier to just slip on and go.

I don't like the Verra nearly as well as the Sierra. I tried to save a few bucks but next time I will buy the Sierra which I love.

The Velcro on this sandal catches on the clasp. Cannon slip it on and off without using both hands to pull strap through the clasp.

Not as nice as the old Teva Zirra sandals because of all the velcro. I got a defective pair so am ordering a new one and hoping quality control is better. The strap over the toe on the right sandal was a full inch shorter than on the left sandal so I couldn't actually wear it.

This is my fourth pair of Verras, so I didn't hesitate to order my regular size 9 in blue mirage. Unfortunately, the new pair is a solid 1/2 inch smaller than my old pair, so they don't fit. I still plan on purchasing them, but I'll have to find them locally so that I can try them on first and make sure I get a pair that fits.

It is a big size 8. The design allows the back of the shoe to extend beyond the back of my heel, which I know from experience will trip me going down steps. I love the last Texas I purchased, but these are not as comfortable.due to the extremely narrow toe straps.

I guess I have to face the fact that I must always get a narrow. I love these sandals but they were just too loose on my foot in the width.

These sandals felt comfortable when I tried them on, however the strap over the toe had to be opened up so far that less than half of the velcro overlapped. Not only did this look strange but I was afraid it wouldn't wear well. Probably fine for narrow feet, but didn't work for me.

This is the third pair of this sandal I've purchased. The first two fit perfectly and are my most comfortable shoe - I use them for walks, hiking and just normal errands, going out etc. I traveled all over Europe and the Grenadines in them and love them. Over the last couple of years, they must have changed how the straps are configured. My foot now sits too far forward and they look too small. The foot bed seems identical between the old and new pairs so I think it's a change in the straps. I have a very narrow foot and the straps adjust down to support my foot properly but just barely. But, Now they should be true to size, my old pairs were 1/2 - 1 size smaller than my normal shoe size. Now my regular size would probably work. Because of my narrow foot, I'm going to try these on in a store before I order again to avoid another purchase & return.

The top straps are one piece, meaning the strap closest to the toe goes through a loop and then becomes the strap closer to the ankle, but not the ankle strap. As such, they are not as adjustable to fit your foot in just the right places. However, if you have an average foot shape, they are pretty and give adequate arch support. I returned them because I need individual strap adjustment.

I find these sandals very comfortable. There is one problem though. The strap in the back snag when you are trying to pull it to close on the Velcro so you can never open and close them quickly. You have to fiddle with the strap to get the thicker end of it through the strap loop. I wouldn't buy them again for this reason. Otherwise very comfortable.

For the first few times I wore them they were great! But then my arthritic big toe joint started to really hurt and now I can't wear the sandals.

Having worn Tevas for many years this pair is a dissapointment. The velcro and straps are way off, top one overhangs over an inch and bottom is just the opposite - what kind of feet have this discrepancy?

This shoe is fine, but the strap across the top of the foot is quite long. The proportions look off on my foot. I find myself not wearing this sandal as often as I had thought I would.

Feel is great but the Velcro strap is not located correctly. It is almost impossible to close the strap over my ankle and I don't have big ankles.

I got an 8 which fit my footbed just fine. The issue was the straps. the heel strap was too short with the Velcro to connect. the Velcro didn’t run the length of the strap like my in old pair. Same issue with the toe strap. not enough Velcro to close it comfortably. This seems like a simple design flaw that could be easily fixed

What people are talking about here was true -- whatever little crack/design they put into the rubber footbed pinches your foot with every step; it's strange. That was a weird design. Other than that, they're okay. Sent them back. I like the shape of Tevas but have had problems with almost all of their synthetic footbeds -- either uncomfortable with the designs they put on, or stinky, or both!

Cute sandals. Disappointed that I have to return them. Loosening the ankle strap to put the sandals on is very difficult. The velcro attached to the inside of the strap is too thick to pass through the metal cinch loop. It requires pinching and squeezing while threading it through at an angle and this has to be done each time I want to put them on. The velcro will probably end up fraying or separating. There is also a spot behind the big toe area where the straps overlap creating some friction against my skin.

I will purchase this shoe again in the same size. Only returning because it is defective -- one strap was cut too short.

The front sole of the shoe is a little to thin for my foot problem. I have the Tirra sandal which is perfect, but liked the look of Verra. Also on the Verra, the lines on the footbed irritate my foot, as other reviewers have noted.
