I have worn the original style of Teva for a long time. I decided that instead of getting the old standard and some other "cute sandals" for other times, I'd try to put them together - and settled on the Verra. They are relatively cute, and feel secure for hiking. However, in 2 days of camping, I switched them out twice due to the sores formed by seams sewn in the straps. I am still hopeful these will work, as tread and footbed feel good.

This is the only sporty sandal I buy, but I was a little disappointed with this purchase. The sole appeared to be made with a cheaper material. It compresses too easily. Only time tell how it wears. It also did not feel like it had as much arch support as previous purchases. Over never had an issue with the price because I knew the quality was worth it. This time I'm not so sure. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 based on past experience with this sandal. Again, only time will tell. In the past I've always recommended this sandal. We'll have to see how it wears to see if I continue recommending it.

I had some Zerra sandals from years ago that finally wore out. They were a simple flat sandal from Teva in a style similar to Verra. I purchased a size 9 pair of Verra in a hot pink that was in the clearance area on this site and they were great! Fit great, a little more foot bed thickness than Zerra but I like them. So I bought a second pair in a tan color same size (9), and they totally did not fit! Wasn't adjusting the straps, the whole foot bed felt smaller and my big toes were hanging over the sides. Not good. Had to send back. Might try again but in a 10? Anyway return was easy, refund prompt, I have no complaints about Teva!

Love the look not as chunky as regular Tevas but maybe tooo feminine. I found the straps to be a bit cutting because of their thinness. Not a sandal I would wear hiking for sure.

I have a pair of the Teva Original Universal that have lasted many diverse terrain outings, with both wet and dry feet. I've never had an issue with the soles of my feet slipping on the insole of the shoes. However, the new Verra that I just purchased have definitely caused some scary moments when my feet have slipped around on top of the insole while wearing them in a few bodies of water. I'd still buy them, again, but not specifically for the water as I'd originally planned.

Fits well and is comfortable.

I have worn this shoe hiking a few times. It is very comfortable, but I usually wear a 8.5, and it seems a little big. Next time I'd buy a size 8. I would have returned them, but didn't figure this out till after I wore them the second time. The straps don't exactly hit my feet where they should.

Pattered bottom creates some blisters

Love the gray, black and white colors. The ankle strap is a little too short. It doesn't cover up the velcro like it should. Other than that, I love them.

Most comfortable

I bought these to replace my old Tevas that finally wore out. They feel light and supportive. I have a wide foot, and these work, but I wish Tevas still came in wide.

I love these sandals! I've worn them every day since the day they arrived. Very comfortable & lightweight. Great for walking, but cute enough to wear anywhere! Definitely recommend!

These are sturdy yet comfortable and work well as water shoes or walking shoes!
