I bought my son several pairs of summer shoes and before he even tried them on, he liked this pair. Of course, I made him try them all, and this was still the winner. I can say that when my girl's Tevas and Keens STINK, these don't . They look pretty cool, are providing good support and have handled days with lots of walking. My son's only complaint is that his feet sweat in them, but honestly, it isn't any more so than any other shoe of this type. He loves them!

Runs large - in some shoes my sons a 4, but in this, even the 3 is pretty loose. Seems well-made, lighter and easier to put on than the Keenes (the opening to get the foot in is bigger so they slide on more easily). Dries quickly. Only a few weeks old but holding up well so far. He doesn't usually want to wear them, but I think it's only because I keep his super-comfy orthotics in his dry sneakers.

Love these! We buy Keens every year and my son complains because they are hard to get on when his feet at we. These are less bulky and so comfortable. It was a great choice!

i bought it big on purpose to have it ready

My son is between a 3 and 4. They really need half-sized there is such a big difference in the sizes. I'm disappointed because we've always bought these for him since he is rough on his shoes and they hold up well. He would live in these if we didn't live in Pennsylvania.

I wear women's size 6.5 W, and these fit great! I'm a great-grandma and I think they look cute. Ha-ha! Am excited to try these out this spring and summer!

Wish I had read all the reviews before ordering. My kid where’s a 5-5.5. First ordered a 6 and it was size of 8. Tried a 5 but was still way too big. Trying again with a 4.

Nice style. Good quality. My son, who often complains that shoes are uncomfortable, said these were good once we got the right size. He wears a size 6 in Nike sneakers. Another reviewer indicated they run large so we ordered size 5 which which were good. But the medium width was too snug, even though he has a narrow foot. We exchanged for the wide width and it was perfect!

Versatile, comfy, and durable. My son loves them. They do run big, so order accordingly.

Shoes like this tend to run large. My 10 yo son wears 6-6.5 in running shoes, I ordered these in a size 5 and they are way too big.

Wow, these run large! My son wears a size 6½ in all his other Merrell shoes, but these shoes are being exchanged for a size 4. I am hoping these fit because my son loves Merrell arch support.

First of all, I just want to say I’m an adult who ordered a big kids shoe. I liked the style and hoped they would fit well. I’ve done this before and it has worked out for me. I’m honestly not sure if it’s because I’m an adult ordering big kids shoes or not (I wouldn’t think this wouldn’t matter, but want to be honest up front). I LOVE Merrell’s, and I ordered these for excursions we need closed toe shoes for on our cruise. The strap that Velcros closed is on the wrong spot or something. It hits my foot the wrong way and causes quite a bit of discomfort. I could never walk any distance in these shoes without getting some kind of sore or blister. I had a friend try these on also and she wholeheartedly agreed. I am definitely a Merrell fan and have all different styles of Merrell shoes, this particular style just isn’t for me.

These def were not wide. Even as I pulled them out of box they didn’t look wide but I had my son try them on and def not. But I wanted to like them. I liked the look and waterproof on the bottle though
