Not owning a pair of platform shoes or sandals, I was pretty nervous about purchasing the Flatforms. However they were super comfortable. The plastic hook on the straps kind of dug into my foot at first, but fortunately you're able to fix that with the adjustable straps. I would definitely buy another pair in a different color! Only recommendation is not to wear the black pair in places that have dusty floors because it'll stick on the foam-like side of the sole.

Got these for a trip to Europe. They are excellent in terms of the the bottom of your foot. I wore a lot of bandaids so the straps didn't cause blisters. It did work and I wore the shoes 6 days straight all day. I took them when they were brand new - a no no for a trip, but am still curious if the straps will get softer with time.

As some others have commented, I too received ridicule when I tried showing off these sandals. The description "marshmallows" is correct. It felt as if I was walking on rummer erasers. They work in New York. Very comfortable, the straps didn't cause me any discomfort and I wore them upwards of 10 hours walking in the city.

I have the Teva Flatform Universal in color candy stripe coral and size 6W. The length is true to size. I do not typically wear a wide width, but these are not too wide. They are very light in weight. The strapping is easily adjustable and very comfortable. There is little-to-no arch support, but I would not expect it in a shoe of this style. The first time I wore them, I was walking for several hours – no issues at all. The coral color is a nice summery color, and it should compliment most outfits.

The Teva Flatform Universal is very comfortable. I was afraid the edges of the Velcro straps would cut into my feet, but they didn't at all--they're protected by the softer straps underneath. There is a lot of room for adjustment with the separate straps, so they fit well. They were comfortable immediately and stayed that way. As with any platform shoe, the sole doesn't flex when you walk, and the foot bed is firm rather than cushion-y.

These shoes are not your typical Teva sandal. This is an updated version which gives a bit of height without sacrificing comfort. They are more comfortable than I thought they would be, but I would probably not wear them for hiking or a lot of walking as I would the traditional Teva sandal. They are not a sport sandal. The "Flatform" sole made me feel a bit wobbly when going up and down stairs, but that might be because I'm not used to thickness. The coral candy strip is a bit brighter, almost neon, than what is shown in the pic. They are comfy and and look great with dresses and skirts.

I have the Teva Flatform Universal sandals in the Candy Stripe Coral (pink) color which I get complimented on whenever I wear them. Very bright and summery. The shoes are high, almost like bit of a "platform" shoe so I was skeptical at first. But they added about 2" to my 5'1" height, so that was a perk! They felt stiff and somewhat hard when I first put them on. I wore them standing for several hours, biking and walking in the neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised that they remained comfortable. They are very lightweight. However, the arch support is minimal. These are a cute and comfy enough shoe for town or limited walking, but not an outdoorsy type of Teva that you would want for trails or full days on your feet.
