This belt is great! I purchased the large size so that any excess could be trimmed. There was definitely some excess left over to trim. The belt is thin and not wide so it can fit in any size belt loop. When the belt arrives, it's stiff but after wearing a few weeks, the stiffness is no longer noticeable. I was hesitant to purchase this belt because there were some negative reviews. I'm glad that I purchased this belt and overlooked the reviews. I like Patagonia products and have purchased their products for years. Glad to add this to my collection of Patagonia products! Patagonia please keep up the good work!

Web belts have become my go to favorite except on the rare occasion when my wife holds a gun to my head and makes me wear a suit. The best things about web belts are how easy it is to cut off any excess material (heat up a putty knife) so you end up with the perfect length and also how you are able to make micro adjustments for the perfect tightness no matter where the particular pants you are wearing are sitting on your hips. As web belts go, Patagonia makes some of the best.

This is a pretty cool belt. I don't use it for hiking or sporting or whatever it was made for, I just wanted a belt that didn't have holes so I could tighten it exactly how I wanted it. It's definitely function over form (which is its purpose of course) but it still looks fine. It's very sturdy, holds its shape well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the khaki color is a little bit dingy, could be a nicer shade.

After reading other reviews of this belt online I was worried that it was going to not be long enough, and maybe be to narrow. But Compared to my other belts it is thinner but not enough for me to notice while wearing it. It is also long enough to fit me with plenty of length and I am a Bigger guy.
So after my limited experience of wearing this belt I would say it is worth it. It is very light, and seems very sturdy
Hopefully it holds up for many years to come.
