I have been a huge fan of the Charged Cotton line for years. They are my favorite shorts to wear to the gym or just lounge around in. This past week, I had decided that it was time to expand a little bit and pick up a few new ones for the rotation. I found myself reading the reviews here, and became throughly disappointed in reading that the material ratio changed leaving many consumers unhappy. I was immediately turned off and decided to try to find an alternative. While running some errands, I stopped into an unnamed sporting goods store, and found a display containing these "new" charged cotton tees. I was surprised to realize that they felt relatively similar to the original, although clearly containing more polyester. I picked one up, played with the material, and compared it to similar brands shirts. Still a winner in my opinion. For my use, I actually think it's an improvement. I work up a decent sweat while working out, so the increase in synthetics is a plus for me. The shirts still fit and appear as a cotton shirt would, without holding as much moisture throughout the workout. I ended up buying three and have been very pleased with their performance. As for the fitting- I like to bump up a size due to having broader shoulders so that the sleeves don't constrict my arms, but that's all preference. A little looser around my waist doesn't bother me. Overall a great product in my opinion. Hopefully this review helps others stuck between being scared away due to other negative reviews.

I have the old versions and the new and I love them both. I like the new ones better though. I'm 5'7" 170lbs, 10% body fat. The medium fits beautifully for comfort and the small fits tighter but not ridiculous tight and shows off the physique better.

I see a lot of complaints about the new material UA is using in the Charged Cotton shirt but I couldn't disagree more. In my opinion the new material is an upgrade. I recently bought one and it not only feels amazing, but also fits perfectly. It is the perfect gym/workout shirt. I plan on buying more once the White and Carbon Heather size Large are back in stock.

This is my go to shirt. It is so soft and comfortable and is so great I wish I could get away with wearing it to work. The only thing is it runs a little small so I did have to size up for maximum comfort. Love it! I hope you never stop making this one.

One of my favourite UA products of all time... It's the comfiest shirt you'll ever wear. It's much better than the old generation which was 95% cotton i believe. I love the 57% cotton, 38% polyester, 5% elastane combo of this shirt. I'll definitely need to buy more. I'm 6'3" so i usually buy XL, but in terms of this shirt, the XL fit more like a L, so i ended up needing to buy a XXL because it fit more like a XL. Not sure why this shirt seems to run smaller. Maybe it was just a defect.

Great shirt. Love the material.I definitely prefer this material vs the old one. I like the fitted feel to it. A little tight around the neck area but other then its my go to work out shirt!

I ordered these in several different colors. They are a great shirt. I was not sure about ordering the charged cotton shirts again because the first ones I had bought, the collar stretched out and became oversized. These shirts feel great and they move great with body. They are a perfect fit, not to loose and not to sung. I use these for workouts and for casual wear. Best shirt hands down. I highly recommend them, Thank you.

Honestly, I do not understand so many negatives. I am a long time owner of Under Armour clothing. Some has been good, some not. This however, is GOOD! The fabric is phenomenal at wicking sweat. It is very comfortable. I am athletic sized, 6' and about 215 and these shirts have a semi-loose to fitted feel to them which is exactly what I expect in a performance shirt. Overall, great for wearing to the gym, basketball, or a night out. Keep producing shirts like this and many different styles = customer for life!

Awesome product will recommend to other buyers. I've been using under armour products since last year and i can say that they are really of great quality and comfort.

I've bought about 7 different colors and won't workout in anything else. The comfort is unbeatable !

I wear these shirts for work in a relatively warm climate year round. The charged cotton fabric blend is the most comfortable shirt I have ever worn. Great breathability, perfect fit, good moisture dispersion, my only wish is that under armour made more design options: either plain colors or shirts with ridiculous designs or names written across the front or back are available, they used to make a striped version, real sharp looking but can't find anymore. Other than that one minor thing BEST, most COMFORTABLE shirts I've ever owned!

I see a lot of reviews about liking the old material: I have both and find this new material 100% better in fit, comfort, durability and overall performance. I have purchased 5 shirts with this material to replace other UA t shirts.

Fantastic. Delivered in under 2 days and the quality is top notch. Great gym shirt but definitely stylish enough to wear with jeans/decent shorts. Might have to order one in every color...not kidding.

I am 52, and in all my years, I have never found a better fitting or more comfortable t-shirt than the UA Charged Cotton Sportstyle. It's not the least expensive, but also being the most durable, longest lasting t-shirt I've ever had, it's well worth the price. Good job UA!

I really like the way the charge cotton shirts fit and perform. Wash well, wear well and perform well. pretty much my favorite t-shirts.

I cant get enough of UA. I've wore the UA Cotton Charged shirt I got for my birthday so much that I worry it'll start getting holes. Lol. Definitely would recommend this to anyone. Thanks UA Team!!

Great shirt. Very comfortable. Just enough non-cotton materials to help it maintain its true-to-size loose fit. This is not a skin-tight workout shirt. And, as always, the service from Zappo's was flawless.

Big upgrade on the fabric this is a much better charged cotton than before. Dries fast and is very stretchy great for lifting weights as it doesn't limit mobility. Great loose fit very good. I'm buying 10 more just to have. One of the better made shirts UA has made to date. I'm 5'11" and 230lbs muscular with football player build and I went with XXL and could have gotten away with XL but like the extra room.

I bought one of these for work at a local store awhile ago and its great. It looks great and is very comfortable. The only thing worth noting is I usually wear a men's medium but all of these shirts seemed a size larger than marked. The small fits like a medium. I just bought 2 more for work. Great product, not sure why the reviews aren't higher.

Found these at a sports store....the cotton polyester mix forms to my body better than all the breathable full synthetics out there. Very light, fits awsome....getting a little looser fit after washes but still great. Bought out all my size at the store so now looking online

The old Charged Cotton shirts were my favorite t-shirts. Super-soft and comfortable, with a good fit. I wore them more for casual use than anything else and wore other shirts to work out. I was hesitant to order this new style given the mixed reviews. I am glad that I ordered. It's true that these are not quite as soft as the old version so they are not quite as comfortable when you first put them on, but they are better in every other way. The fit is more athletic, they hold their shape better, they wear cooler, and they wick moisture better. After several hours out and about on a hot summer day or playing with the kids, they feel just like did when first put on. That is not true of the original. I still wear them more for casual use, but they will go into my workout t-shirt pile as they get older. They are by far the best overall t-shirts I have worn. I wish they were available in all of the same colors, but with no logo, which would make them more appropriate for more occasions. But they are great as is.
