Light weight. Almost too flimsy. I've run in the wildcats for years but could not find my size. I decided to try these. Comfortable but after a few long trail runs I'm not sure they will hold up for the long-haul in terms of arch support and overall foot comfort.

Love these. In the La Sportiva line I would find them second only to the Kaptiva shoes. Good support, plenty toe box room, very comfortable. They did slip on my heels a bit, hence being second to the Kaptivas, but I have very narrow heels.

Took them on the Camino de Santiago Portuguese route. They were AWESOME. Every bit as grippy as they claim, lightweight, and I came to love the weird tongue-gaiter thing. Wore the balls and outer heels down to baldness over 400 miles of varied terrain and now I’m ordering new ones.

I just took my new Mutant out for a 27km technical trail run with lots of wet rocks and roots. These shoes were simply AMAZING. The traction is beyond any other trail shoe I have ever tried; they offer great stability and are super comfortable. The 27th kilometre felt as good as the first one :) I LOVE these shoes!

This is my go to mountain running shoe for rugged terrain in the Sierras. Sturdy enough for a hiker but comfortable and versatile enough for those long trail running days in the mountains.

Bought these for my daughter age 9 on sale she loves them says the color way is perfect. I always buy 1 full size larger in La Sportiva and they fit great.

I switched to this shoe after years of running in Salomon Speedcross shoes. I don't know why I waited so long. This shoe is comfortable for the distance and holds up so much better. Don't ever stop making them!

After switching into this shoe mid-race twice in the past year, I'm convinced this is the shoe I should be starting long, hard ultra runs in. It softens up quite a bit after 100-miles, so don't be alarmed if it's hard out of the box. It's softer/more comfortable than the current Bushidos, but equally indomitable.

This is my go to mountain running shoe here in the Tetons. The aggressive tread keeps me from slipping on loose gravel and dirt, and the sticky rubber keeps me from slipping on rocks. They are really great for transitioning from running to scrambling to running again. The shoe itself works really well with my feet (which are narrow), especially the heel cup. I still feel like I have good room in the toe box though. The Mutants also provide a lot of stability for big days and are nice and breathable in the heat. I've put some serious miles in a pair of these shoes and haven't had any issues yet. Also really love the little pocket you can tuck the laces into to keep the knot from unraveling! Great feature!

Purchased these shoes from a local runner corner and could not be any more pleased with the overall outcome of this shoe. I wore them for the first time hiking up Angels Landing in Zions National Park without any previous wear and they didn't bug me one bit. As a matter of fact they've never had any sort of discomfort. They support your arches well while proving your foot and toes sufficient room to spread out as your foot strikes the ground. I especially love that they sit a little bit higher on the ankle (just below the ankle bone). This provides stability for the rugged terrain. I've run all over town and in the mountains and am planning on finishing my pair off with a spartan race in a month. I will be purchasing another pair and they really are the perfect shoe. Now I usually wear a size 6.5-7, but sized up to a 7.5 as per the employees suggestion from the running store and it really has helped my feet feel a lot more comfortable in the shoe. The other really neat touch with these shoes is the pocket that's on the outside of the laces. Tie up your shoes as needed and tuck the know and any extra in this pocket to keep from having your laces undone or bouncing all over the place.

Given the variable terrain in the Scottish Highlands, I felt safe and secure from the off. Covered ultra distance of hard packed rock, thick wet mud, knee deep rivers and grassy hill sides with comfort and confidence. I have a narrow foot so was pleasantly surprised with the snug fit around the heel. Quite firm through the midfoot but this complemented the overall ride. First outing was >30km.... easy. Bravissimo.

Really great mountain running shoe. Comfortable and light, but has good support and traction on dirt and shale. My toes feel protected too when basting around on rocks. Good shoe for ascending mellow peaks as well.

The color on the picture is a bit deceiving. The blue us much lighter and the orange is no that color but a salmon one. I like them anyway, they were a present, if I have seen the real color my self, I wouldn't have bought them.

These are definitely a half size too small. I always wear a 7 - even in previous La Sportivas - but I'll be returning them for 7.5s. Love the colors! The tying mechanism takes some getting used to, but it's fine.

I liked these shoes, but as with the Topos they were tight across my high instep. It was a very close call, though. I also didn't care for the lacing system, it was inconvenient and seemed gimmicky. I can appreciate the pocket to keep laces secure, but the looping around of the laces made them hard to work. Nice looking shoes though, and if they had fit I would have lived with the laces. My boyfriend LOVES his Sportivas.

I bought them for my trail training for spartan and they are great except that they run small. I should have bought at least half a size bigger.
I like that they are light and the grip is really nice. I think if I would have gotten the proper size I would have loved them, but I noticed how bad it was when I was breaking them in, so I couldn't return them or exchange them.

I love the look of these but I am really nervous about how the laces are held in place. They have a fabric loop, but the loop is held in place by a long strip of glue. I really worry if the glue gets worn I will lose the ability to use the laces. I might be being too paranoid but it just didn't seem like a reliable way to secure laces.

I loved these shoes in terms of looks and comfort. However, I took them on a hiking vacation and the soles started peeling away from the toe after ~7 days. I’m trying again. Hopefully my next pair will hold up better. They run on the small size so I’m also trading in for a 1/2 size larger.

loved the color plum green ,runs small ordered 1/2 size larger .rubbed on my ankle bone
other than that they were perfect.,bought them to day hike in,i have difficulty finding shoes to fit my feet
these had wide toe box with enough room and were tight enough on my narrow ankles
tried a lot of shoes and these were my favorite .
