These are so so so cute, I wanted to love them. But the ankle shaft is SO STIFF! Wow. No way, these went back immediately.

I wanted to love these. They’re super cute and seem well made. Unfortunately, they dug into my ankle with every step I took. There’s no way I could wear these to the mailbox let alone hundreds of miles in the backcountry. They also run small. I’m a 6.5 and ordered a 7, because.. hiking socks. My toes were touching with only a thin liner on. I’d recommend at least a full size up (if your ankles can tolerate the pain).

my second pair, the fit was the same as the previous pair, so I'm happy. The last ones have lasted me many years. They didn't wear out at all, they just got too dirty to wear beyond my back yard.

My feet have changed and I needed a larger size but still love OBOZ!

Knew from reviews that this boot ram half size small. Ordered two boots, 2 sizes, and sure enough, my normal size was too tight. Boot seemed really nice though.

I LOVE the Oboz Bridger BDRY hiking boot! I just bought my 3rd pair! I usually do 3 - 8 mile hikes. I like hiking hills and tend to hike faster than most people; I sometimes run/jog a little on the trail. I like that this boot is sturdy, good on rocks, and supports my ankles, but also bends and gives a little so I can still jog in them. I also have another pair of Oboz that are stiffer, but I like the Bridger better for faster day hikes. I buy 1/2 size larger than my usual shoe size; I like to wear thick Thorlo socks.

Great shoe. Well made and super comfortable but I didn't keep this pair as it was a tiny bit tight in the toe box on one foot. If I went to the larger size it would be too big.

I LOVE these hiking boots. They fit my foot perfectly and I seriously had NO break in period. I wore them on three consecutive hikes, totaling 16 miles, right out of the box. I did get the wide, which seems great for a normal/wide foot. Seem true to size as I wear a 10.5 in sneakers and got a 10.5 wide.

Sending back because wide width is too, too narrow. Gait is amazing. Heel cup is amazing. Looks are very good for a hiking boot. Please make wide widths that accommodate square feet someday, Oboz. Love these otherwise.

Comfortable and supportive!

I am an avid hiker, but I also have myriad foot problems (bunion, hammer toe, tibial tendinitis, overpronation.) I need a sturdy, water-proof, yet comfortable boot with plenty of room in the toe box and lots of motion control. These boots fill the bill--but ONLY because I ordered one full size up from my usual size 9. These shoes run small, and even a half size larger was not enough space to put my essential Powerstep orthotics in and still not feel like my feet were jammed into them. If you don't have a lot of foot issues, I would still order a half size up minimum. I don't give this 5 stars for comfort simply because these boots have a lot of support in them, and so there is going to be a little break in time. I think in a couple of weeks they are going to be super comfortable, too.

Super great hiker! Nothing too extreme, just basic trails around LA. No break-in time needed whatsoever. Super comfy and have become my go-to shoe for casual use in place of my sneakers. My old hikers, which I wore for over 7 years didn't have a cozy ankle area...they would stick to my skin wearing short ankle socks, which are my preferred sock cuz I get hot really easily with higher socks. In contrast with these hikers, I can wear my short little ankle socks and the inside of the bootie is comfortable against my skin, no sticky cold feeling against the flesh...just nice and cozy. Get em!!

Great fit. More narrow than other hiking boots/shoes I've tried.

Oboz boots are the absolute best. This is my fourth pair. They are supremely comfortable right out of the box and perform well in all conditions - scree, snow, and pavement. I have owned many a pair of way more expensive boots that are not nearly as good as my Oboz.

Really good traditional hiking boots. Sturdy and supportive with thick soles and deep tread. Love the red leather ones. Order a half size up. They're cut a little bit narrow in the toe box, too, so until they stretch out, I'm wearing thinner socks. Very happy with these shoes.

Fits my narrow-ish foot well. Toe box is high enough to be very comfortable (I hate having my toes pushed on by the top of a shoe, which happens with a lot of shoes -- but not this one!). Supportive shoe, sturdy sole, excellent for long day hikes on rocky trails.

I tried on 6 pairs of hiking boots. I like these the best but will say they fit the smallest. Still works for me though! Excellent arch support. Great bold red color. Sturdy but not too clunky. I've never used this brand before and am excited to try something new.

Love the look! Red Hot! Got half size up 9.5 Wide instead of 9 regular and a great fit. Not as cushy as a Merrell but the red color is outstanding.

This is my third pair of oboz Bridger mid. I replace them every 3 to 4 years for personal preference. My first pair are still in great shape. I just love them and can walk all day in them.TBe specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

I’m so happy with this boot. It has a great arch support which is very important to me. It has a good height as well to support the ankles i wear 9 sometimes 9.5 in shoes. My Nike running shoes are always 9.5. I ordered 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I have enough toe space for a wiggle but good support still. My foot is narrow therefore the regular and there too, great fit. I wore them for a walk and they definitely don’t need a break in. Comfortable from the start.

Great boots. Very comfortable and they hold up well.

These boots appear to be very well made. I like the way the soles are shaped where the heel is slightly rounded. Walking felt effortless. Unfortunately, they felt a bit too short and narrow for me. I wear either 6 1/2 or 7. Keens hiking boots have always been 7. So I tried the Bridger in a 7. The arch placement was a little off and felt like a half size larger might work. They also felt more snug in the width than would be comfortable. I may try again with a 7 1/2 wide.

These are very light weight and comfortable. Wore them on a short hike out of the box and didn't have any problems. Purchased the reddish color and it's a good looking shoe.
