After months of looking in-store and online I asked on chat one of the major outfitters what hiking boot they'd recommend and without hesitation and none of that what are you looking for they said the Oboz Bridger Mid Waterproof. With such speed and authority I took 'em up on it. The look, the feel, the quality and the customer service without reservation I can say I made the correct choice.

First the good: very comfortable, warm down to 15F with good wool socks, great looking and thats about it. The bad: I have yet to find a surface these arent slippery on when its wet. These boots attract dirt as no other shoes Ive ever had. One outing no matter the condition, terrain or type of surface these will get dirty. In mud soles will get clogged up with dirt compromising traction. Cant comment on durability as I havent worn them enough over 2 years of ownership. These are my last resort boots that I only wear when all others are wet or too dirty.

I own four pairs of Oboz shoes currently. Two are Bridger mid waterproofs and I had one other that I retired. Im a fan because these shoes happen to fit my feet better than any other brand Ive worn. I wear the Bridgers almost everyday and have for years. They are my go to for work and the woods. Yeah Im a fan. :)

Best boot Ive ever had! Tried others and these boots s stand up to what the company advertises. They are comfortable and waterproof. I purchased a pair that were to small and the company made a full refund and I received the right ones. Would recommend Oboz to anyone looking for boots.

Fit and comfort are great. The "Sudan" color of the delivered shoes is not what appears on the website.

The shoe is comfortable, but the rubber on the bottom peals off pretty easy. Nice shoe, but not worth the price.

I bought these almost 2.5 years ago and they were great. Ive but them through hikes, long walks, rocky and muddy sections of the trail. The boots are very comfortable right out of the box. The big issue is the laces which have come undone 3-4 times in less than a 10 minute period. The waterproofing was good but moisture has started coming through on the top toe area after moderate rain. Overall this is a good boot but these small things really make the experience of wearing them super annoying.

This is my fifth pair of Bridgers from Oboz, and I find they are the most supportive and comfortable boot I have ever worn. I practically live in them! I always have two pairs around the house. I have a "good pair" for riding my Harley and just everyday wear and the "old pair" for work, mowing, and working around the flower beds.

This is my 2nd pair. Thank you for bucking the trend to change for the sake of change, and instead sticking with a proven, great boot. The best boot Ive ever wornat age 71. I still wear my first pair for grunge work. And theyre still staying high and dry! Thanks for being the company you are and claim to be.

Hurt my feet

These were a Christmas gift for my husband.. his first pair, he wore them in the snow .. they passed and most of all he loves them! Yay!

This is 12th pair of oboz love them wear them 12 hours everyday at least at work and at play

I have worn these boots for 3 hunting seasons. I have easily hiked over 200 harsh miles in the mountains in these boots. The support is finally gone, but these boots are still waterproof! This is easily the best waterproof performance of any boot I have ever had. I have done nothing to treat these boots to make them waterproof. The boot has stayed waterproof all on its own, and it has been used very hard. This boots fit is also very comfortable and soft, more like a shoe and less like a stiff hunting boot. They ran a little small for me and I had to size up. No outward damage to the boot either, very tough, very durable. Very impressed, very good value for the money.

These boots have exceeded my expectations in most areas. Theyre very supportive, comfortable for all day wear, and great looking. There are some issues though. Theyre hazardously slippery on wet surfaces! And they are narrow and toe box.

Overall comfort out of the box is great and breaking them in is easy. However, this is my second pair and durability and quality control can be an issue with these boots.. For me, someone with low back issues and loves the outdoors, these boots are great for support and comfort when on moderate trails and doing yard work, but they may not last more than a year or two before you have to replace them.

Very comfortable easy on and off.

these shoes are a bit of a struggle getting on n off due to the lace design but when there on your feet and laced up properly there worth it i feel like the shoes have a actual energy

I have fairly fat feet. Wides are normally just a bit too wide, regular width are usually ok. These shoes are fine if I change up the lacing, but do take quite a bit of time to break in properly.

Found them to be tight for my high arch feet. The low version fits great.
