I love FiveFingers, but the insulation between the toes on my larger foot uncomfortably separated the toes. Too painful to walk in.

these shoes look and feel amazing quality ... sadly they're not right, the plastic sole is so hard and stiff, it felt very uncomfortable on my little toe. Super hard to get all the toes in. These shoes aren't "one size fits all" ... love the concept and have had several before that have worked. They need to redesign and make it WAY easier to fit toes in.

I wanted to like these but the fit is similar to the wool version of the shoe and seems to run VERY SMALL AND NARROW compared to typical fit. It may be a combination of the high flexibility of the typical Five Fingers shoes versus the more traditional fit of these but I could not even get my foot into these and they are the same size as my other 8 pair of Five Fingers. I'm really want to get a pair so will try ordering 1 or 2 sizes larger and see. I love Zappo's return policy!!! It takes the worry out of ordering. THANKS ZAPPOS!!!

A typical iteration of the Vibram FiveFingers line, however, these have a design element that does not hold up well over time. The soft outer layer around the mid-foot pills when the shoe is washed, and eventually separates from the rest of the shoe. I wear mine at least twice a week, and after 6 months of use, they started falling apart. In contrast, my first pair of Vibrams 6 years ago held up for 2+ years.

Running in these shoes was problematic for me - the back of the shoe is very stiff compared to other Vibrams and it rubs against my achilles heel on both legs. By the end of my first three mile run in them, I had painful cuts on both achilles heels. Had to return them.

I used them for just brief casual wear and the toe stitching fell apart. Likely wore them less then 5 hours!
