My husband has Parkinson’s Disease, and these stylish pants with their ankle zipper are easy for him to put on and take off. I wash them on a gentle cycle and hang them to dry. Because this disease has limited our opportunities to venture out, it has limited our need for a variety of clothing choices. For this reason I bought him multiple pairs. If Asics comes out with a greige or medium gray, I would purchase several pairs in those colors as well.

Finally a pair of general workout pants that are long enough. I'm 6'3" 230lbs/wear Large in the waist and Nike & UA are typically too short in all but the 'loose fit' styles. The Asics 'Essential' pant looks good in overrall fit -not too tight, yet not baggy. Sits nicely at the waist & in the crotch. Overall, a great cut for my frame. The lighter weight material is perfect for my needs. Just wish they offered a grey color for variety.

Love these pants. I bought a pair at a consignment store and thought they were women's. I tried to find another pair and found they were mens but I am tall and they fit so nice, not baggy , long and nice material. I found them at Zappos and ordered 3 more pairs. Wish they came in Navy or grey so I didn't look Like i was wearing the same thing all the time. Love them!

This is the second pair of these pants that I have bought for my husband. They look very nice on him and, he says, they are very comfortable. He is 6' 2", about 200 lbs, the Large fits well, length is good. The fabric is lightweight and soft. Pockets have zippers.

I have worn this type of pants for many years. The quality of these pants beats the other brands hands down. Deep pockets with quality zippers, quality material, elastic waist material that works and lasts. I ordered two pair for fear they may be discontinued. Keepers.

Super comfy and practical pant. Pockets are great, made to hold a variety of items small or big with its stretchy fabric. Zippers on the bottom open up the legs to allow ease of use.

Really cozy & breathable material. Absolutely love the zip pockets, makes them much more functional. They fit pretty good too. Pretty sure I ordered a Medium & I'm 6'3 w/ a 32 waist. If these had a back pocket w/ a zip too I'd have 0 complaints.

For a gentleman of a certain age, they have an elastic waist which makes getting in and out of them easy. They have zippers at the ankle so shoes don't have to be removed when dressing or undressing. They wash (gently) and dry quickly without the need for dryer time. And their straight-leg styling makes them casual enough for the gym or grocery store and still appropriate for a dinner out.

Essential pant is lightweight but high quality. I'm tall and they have plenty of length. Highly recommend.

So comfy & a great fit! Bought my husband second pair as he loves the ease, flexibility & comfort of the Essential Pant. Only comment is pants are long - my husband is 5' 10" and they almost touch the ground

I really like the pants, Very comfortable. I have already purchased four pairs of the Essential pants.

I am 5'8", 140 lb. Got size Small, perfect fit. The pants are comfortable, excellent for workouts.

These pants clicked all the bases for me when I saw it on the internet. Zippered leg openings, drawstring etc. These are nice pants and well made. I like the way they fit. I do not like the material. They have a lot of stretch to them, they fit snugly and will stretch nicely when you move. They would not restrict your movement. However, I do not like the tightness of the fit and I don’t like the feel of the material on my skin. I sent them back. I bought a Russell dri fit several years ago that are great. Been trying to find the exact type since. These were as close , on paper, as I have found, except for the material. Russell still makes dri-fit!, but they are not the same as I bought years ago.

The most comfortable sweatpants I've ever had. And the zippered pants and pockets are just what I need, always look for this feature, but rarely find it, so these are great. Also the ONLY sweatpants I have that don't collect cat fur when my cat sits on my lap! Which means they most always look clean, where my others are covered in white fur within fifteen minutes of putting them on. Great product, good value. I'd recommend buying a size DOWN from your usual. I usually buy the large size, but take a medium in these.

The length of the pants were longer than I'd expect and because of the zipper there is no way that I could alter the length. The fit is good though. The material sticks to the shape of your body.

I bought this as a replacement for an older pair of essentials pants I had in high school. These new ones aren't as great but still similar. I just hope they make the ankles tighter and more like joggers. The zippers they have at the bottom of these pants have zero utility to me right now, but I do like the zippered pockets.
