Very comfortable to dance in them. I have a couple of split sole sneakers by other brands and their split sole felt like too far apart and uncomfortable. This pair feels right and has good arch support. I changed the shoelaces to stretchy ones and put thin heel pads for quick changing and long-hour practice. Alteration is each dancer's preference but I was able to dance all day. I love the pair! I wear 5.5 US women size, Europian size 35, 22.5 cm. 5.5 fits perfectly.

The shoes are really nice and comfortable but please note when ordering that they run really small! I usually wear a 7.5-8 and I ended up taking a size 9.5 in these! I would give them 5 stars if it weren't for the sizing.

I found this boot to be extremely flimsy and of cheap quality. If you are buying for a stage or dance performance where you want something very light then it's probably good, but if you're looking for an actual walking boot these will not hold up at all.

Bloch has changed their sizing. I used to wear a size 9 to 9.5 in all Bloch dance shoes (normally I wear an 8 in street shoes). I had a 9 in this same boot from 1-2 years ago, but now needed an 8 to fit properly. Recommend buying true to your normal street shoe size. Boots look exactly the same as before, but must be a new manufacturer. Another reviewer mentioned one of the two shoes being tight on top. I also experienced this, but within a couple wears they stretched to loosen perfectly. i wear these almost everyday to dance in. No issues, but I wear two pairs of socks for extra padding on my heels. Love the look... and recommend.

Feels pretty nice. This is a "dance" boot, but has a rubber sole, so (pro) it can be worn outside and (con) may be less suitable for spinning than you might expect from a dance shoe.

Too heavy and chunky to wear for a dance routine.

My daughter needed a last minute pair of boots for a dance performance and they did the trick. Comfy and light she danced her heart out in them

This would be a great affordable stage shoe for someone with a wider, more athletic foot. I have a narrow foot and was swimming in them, so I need to return. Also, up close they look a little cheap, but then they are priced pretty low to begin with.

Third time ordering these. Ordered them half a size bigger because the first pair was too tight. I normally wear 7.5. The size on the 8 fit better, but alas, the construction of this boot at the top is poorly made. I really want these to work. They have the style and flexibility I'm looking for but sadly, the way they sow the lace piece to the top bottom of the shoe is wrong. Get them at your own risk. If you have super narrow feet, these may work.

I really wanted this boots to work. I still have faith that the third time will be the charm. They do run small, at least half a size and the construction of the lower part of the shoelace area runs tight right above the front of the foot. I tried on the size 8, on my left foot, everything was working, but the right shoe was more tight and visibly sown incorrectly so it kind of wrinkles and makes the foot feel super tight right at the widest part of the front of the foot. I'll be contacting costumer service in the hopes that the next pair they send, doesn't visibly have that tightness at the top. Otherwise, the left shoe felt great! Come thru zappos!

I agree with the other review. This shoe definitely runs small. My daughter wears a 10 or 10.5 normally. We ordered this shoe in an 11 (biggest size they had) and it is pinching her toes, so we are returning. Probably an 11.5 would have worked. Its purpose was to be for dance (hip hop) and for that, I'd say this is a great shoe if you can get the sizing right!

After trying 3 different sizes we gave up! My daughter is a 7 and not even the size 8 fit. There is a weird bump right at the arch, so the shoes are really not comfy. The tip is as hard as it gets. When you lace them up some weird creases forms on the inside front part, which is not molded to properly fit on the ankle. Overall the shoes look cheap and in my opinion were made cheap..the leather looks like plastic.
