They are a bit narrow, so I don't think it would be comfortable for someone with a wide fit. However, I do not have narrow feet and I found these very comfortable and went up a size. I bought these to walk around during our trip to Ireland. My only negative is these already had some cat hair and what looked like a little dirt. I like them so much I am not opposed to cleaning them, but I didn't expect them to come dirty.

I have two other colors of metrolyte sneakers, and was looking for a lighter color. I wish they were pure grey (don't love pale yellow color), but they are comfy on my horribly problematic feel. I don't see any arch support, but the thin/flexible, lightweight soles have memory foam. My feet often kill me (either pain, or cramping up)--but never in these shoes. I only wish they offered more subdued colors.

Comfortable out of the box. They make my feet look slender!! My puffy broken ankle foot was supported and felt very comfortable for several hours.

Love these shoes! Very Comfortable, true to size both length and width. Some arch support. The only thing I would change is adding a detached tongue but that is not a problem now that I've worn them. Will and have ordered again.

I love these shoes. They are lightweight and comfortable. I can wear with, or without socks. Not a lot of support but I have bought several colors and still like them.

These shoes are lightweight and very comfortable. I have found that when wearing short tennis-type socks that they want to pull down into the shoe at the heel so I prefer to wear them without socks. I may try a very lightweight type of "Footie" sock and see how they work. I have done short walks with them on paved streets or sidewalks and they are comfortable with enough support.

Very comfortable and nice fit for me (need narrow heel and wider toe box with some room for toes to move around), but sole is quite thin. If I were doing more business travel and wanted a pair of shoes to workout or walk in these would be a great choice given how lightweight and compact they are. Was looking for an all day-multiple day walking shoe for fussy feet, so am passing on this one.

I bought the next size up as some suggested. Good fit. Exactly what I was looking for; lightweight, flexible, comfortable, not bulky. Will use for casual wear and travel. I especially like the black and silver trim. I think it's prettier than the black and white athletic shoes you usually see. Perfect for a basic shoe.

Love these shoes. I hate wearing socks and these have not given me a single issue wearing no socks. Easy to slide on and off

These really are very lightweight and as a result very comfortable to wear all day. The breathable upper is useful if you do wear them all day so that your feet don't get hot and sweaty. I have very narrow feet and they are a little loose width wise, but very easy to slip on and off. For that reason I'm not sure I'd go running in them, but they are fine for other activities such as lifting and erging since they have a thin sole.

The fit was too narrow for my foot. I also have a high instep and this shoe has a fixed tongue so I could not loosen the fit.

These are adorable shoes. I was worried that I might need to order up a little on size from other reviews I read. I ordered my regular size and they fit perfectly. I have a pretty narrow foot and these are close fitting enough to be flattering and comfortable. I'm going to buy the same thing in another color soon.

Great everyday shoe! It was a bit narrow at the opening so tough getting on, but then the fit was perfect, like a glove.

I usually dont buy pink but I got the diva pink in a 9. I'm an 8.5 in shoes and a 9 in gym shoes they fit perfectly and are great for walking around. I haven't used them at the gym. Bright and fun color, great fit. The tongue doesn't move which is strange but I got these for $45 on sale so it's fine. Wait til they go on sale, it'll happen again.

My feet feel great after working long shifts at work. Great minimalist tennis shoe!

I LOVE these shoes. The first pair I ordered was the black. Super cute, comfy and versatile. The ONLY con I can think of is not a ton of arch support but not a deal breaker. I wore these for a week straight on vacation in Arizona. My feet never hurt, and there is ZERO break in. I didn't wear socks with these and have to agree with a previous reviewer - no odor. YAY! Bottom line, I love these so much I ordered another black pair (back up!) AND a pair in diva pink. YEP! These shoes are great!

I love these shoes! They are my favorite casual shoe for doing any sort of walking or errand running. I took them as one of two pairs of shoes on a month long backpacking trip through the UK and they worked out great. They are light weight and slim and work nicely with leggings or jeans. I wouldn't recommend wearing them on a particularly rainy day, as they are quite breathable and will take on water. I've used them for some dance classes at the gym in a pinch but wouldn't recommend this regularly as they don't have as much support as a cross training shoe. Definitely love and would recommend!

Very comfortable, light, and stylish. Since it's a pull on, a little difficult to put on. My usual size 10 fits well without socks, but that's how I intend to wear them this summer. Too snug with regular socks, so these will be errand shoes and not work out shoes. That's what I wanted them for and for vacation.

This is my 3rd pair of ASICS Metrolyte shoes...they are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever owned. They are extremely light weight. They are a little narrow but still very comfortable and relatively true to size.

Absolutely love these. The inside feel like memory foam or something. Super comfortable to walk in. They have a slim fitting low profile so they're not bulky like a regular tennis shoe and they're really lightweight. Perfect for shoving in my laptop backpack for when I have to travel across London to and from the office when I'm there on business. I bought them specifically for this reason because I hate ballet flats but wanted something fairly low key and low profile to wear in place of ballet flats.

So comfortable, so light. This year's style has more cushion than a pair of navy metrolyte's I bought about two years ago.
