The fabric body of the underwear is excellent--soft and comfortable, but the (black) waistband is literally hard, and I mean cardboard hard. I've worn Jockey underwear for years, and have never experienced anything like it. Didn't want to experience it this time. I don't know if it's different with white waistbands; I don't feel like spending the money to find out.

I am not sure what happened, but I usually order the bikini brief. I received the Classic brief and they are well made and my wife put them in the washing machine before I realized they were not the Bikini style. But I will go ahead and use them.

The fabric is great. The waist band is a little too stiff.

Much baggier than I was expecting. I was hoping for something tidier in my tidy whities

Bit snug, material not soft, but Dockers spoiled me. Dockers underwear seem to have disappeared.

Not of the same quality for the price. I wore them or else I would return.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I've worn Jockey briefs for years and now the fabric is much thinner.
Otherwise, they seem to be the same cut and size I have known.

The picture was missed leading. We have been very satisfied before with the briefs we have purchased before. Lets hope that this set shrink!

The briefs are comfortable enough, but I have noticed that the weight of the fabric is much lighter and less substantial than the fabric is previously purchased Jockey brand briefs. I have noticed the same with competitors products also. Does Jockey still manufacturer a brief with a heavier weight fabric as they use to in the past?

Not enough cloth between the legs to cover a man. The size large is 1 1/2 inches more narrow between the legs than the Dockers full rise briefs which are no longer available. I have been looking for a replacement for Dockers for months. The Jockey brand also has substandard elastic in the waist. It started wrinkling bad after only three washings.

I love Jockey underwear. But it seems that the waist band is very small and I'm unable to wear them.

The Briefs fit too large, a 38 feels like a 42. I will be donating my newly purchased 38 Briefs to Charity. Positive -- The waist band is the best I have experienced in a long time also the Cotton quality.

Leg holes do not have a firm fit. Expect balls will drift out after washed a few times. Are original fit from '80s no longer available?

I bought 2 packages of these briefs for my husband. He says the tag in the back is irritating. And one pair is sewn so badly that there is a big bulge in the material along the elastic in the back, which also causes the front to be totally shifted.

The material was much thinner than I thought it would be...you can see light through it if you hold it up to light. On the inside of the front pouch touching your "gentleman's bits," there is a horizonal hem/border that pushes down on your "stuff" which I found to be very uncomfortable. Otherwise, the underwear seemed okay.

My waist size is 32, so as I normally do, I ordered these briefs two sizes up, size 36, to account for shrinkage. However, after just one wash/dry cycle, they became, much like the Grinch's heart, two sizes too small. I'll exchange them for 38's. The down side of that is, in size 36 you get four pairs per pack, where as in size 38 you only get three. So, I'm being penalized for the fact their shrink factor is unreasonably high.

I've been wearing Jockey Classic briefs most of my long life and have loved the fit. My last purchases however have disappointed as after just a few washes the waist band badly frays and stretches. I hope the problem can be addressed. Do not find this a problem on other Jockey lines.

Make sure you buy large enough, they shrink like crazy after the first washing. My estimate is at least a full size, probably more.
