bernie mev is notorious for unpredictable sizes. I've tried on many pairs of shoes in the store where I bought my first pair, and ended up not finding any that fit as well as the ones I had gotten (which eventually were no longer wearable.) That first pair lasted through tons of walking, while traveling and at home, and were comfortable and looked nice. I wouldn't say the style is very youthful but it's good for a "comfort" shoe. Alas, this pair I bought from zappos had the same problem in that the two shoes are sized somewhat differently. The left shoe seems bigger, even though my left foot is actually bigger than my right. The strap is somewhat loose on both but looser on the left. I'm not going to send them back, they are wearable, but where is the quality control with that company? They are packaged so nicely. It might be better to buy two sizes and see which one fits the best, especially since there are no half sizes.

Sporty and glitzy shoes that are very comfortable but run one size too small. I normally wear a 40 but definitely needed a 41 in these. They are extremely lightweight and I expect them to be a good shoe to wear on a trip to Venice. For the price you can't go wrong, just order a size up.

So cute and very comfortable footbed BUT they are sooo tight at the toe. Made for very narrow foot. If only they would make a size 10.5 or 11 maybe that would work. If you have a narrow foot these are for you.

I had recent foot problems when I broke pinkie toe on one foot and big toe on my other. I've had difficulty fitting into and being comfortable in most of my other shoes. I love nice shoes; and I figured that the Bernie Mev's would be funky enough to accomodate. Fit true to size- I wear 8- 8 1/2, and bought size 39. Both my bad toes found comfort in the giving basket weave. Cute enough in the denim, even with the clunky soles, to be cute. I wanted a more substantial sole, rather than the thin sole that is so close to the ground- so I do hope there is a substantial sole that is not as clunky/sporty as this. Of course those clunky soles are very comfortable. I'm going to look for some other Bernie Mev's, maybe a little dressier. Zappo's was great, of course.

Festive,Fun and Comfortable , goes with all my summer clothes both sporty and dress-up. They make people smile then compliment and smile some more.

The stretchy upper accommodates a wider foot, but the molded footbed does not. So, these are going back. Definitely needed the 40 to fit my size 9 foot in length; 39 was too short. Also, there was a fold or ridge in the right heel where the upper met the footbed that would have been a deal-killer, even if they were wide enough. For looks, even cuter in person than in the picture. So disappointed they didn't work out!

I like these shoes. They feature better detailing than knock-offs of this style. However, they're pretty lightweight. They're good for about 2/3 of the day, but not enough support for all day into night.

Great shoes, very lightweight and cute. The only issue is that I can feel something digging in to my instep from where the strap is connected to the shoe. But I can only feel it on one side of one shoe and it's not too bad if I stick some Moleskine on it to cushion it. I'll know more after I wear them around in Europe this month.

These are comfortable shoes but the top straps were too loose for my foot. I was VERY impressed with how fast I got my order! VIP Zappos is awesome. :)

While I love the shoe and did notice that the design didn't match and didn't realize that the fit was cut slightly differently between the shoes. Since I'm an artist, I thought the slight difference in design was interesting. But not the difference in cut. These are great shoes but check them carefully for fit and design before you wear them.

These are my first Bernie Mev shoes, and they are a bit odd looking, but I loved all the different colors on them, and they were pretty comfortable for a moderately priced shoe. Mostly I order shoes well over $100 each pair. But for summer I think these will be fun.

Be aware that Bernie Mev has a huge quality control problem. For every pair you try on, you might have to try more since the shoes frequently don't match. (Another reviewer mentioned the same situation.) I've been aware of this brand for several years and they still can't manufacture with accuracy. With this particular shoe, the right shoe was bigger than the left - I used a tape measure to determine this. Zappos was fabulous - a second pair was sent immediately, which allowed me to compare - I chose the second pair. I love the woven styles and wish Bernie Mev would improve their craftsmanship. There is zero support and the strap cannot be adjusted. I can wear them, and they are adorable - but I won't be doing any intense walking with them on my feet.

These are some of the most comfy shoes I have ever worn. The padding inside could be a little thicker.

the material is metallic and rough on the inside. I didn't keep them but don't think they would be comfortable without socks and would run thin hosiery. They run small.

The size was ok but the strap on the right one was way too loose. Sent them back for a refund.

Toe box was very narrow - pinches the toes together. Says Size 11 = 41; most other shoes an 11 = 42.

These were actually much cuter on than I thought they would be. I silver/grey looked way too shiny when I took it out of the box, but really did look good on my feet. But, they were tight and felt too small. I have problem feet (arthritis and neuromas) and could not risk being uncomfortable on a trip to Europe, so unfortunately back they went. Ordering one size up might have fixed the problem. They really are cute on. I may try them again in the future, just a larger size.

Great fit and comfort, however, didn't like the peep toe like I though I would. Exchanging for another pair of Bernie mev's that I've been looking at. The inside box was slightly damaged, but the outside box and shoes were fine.

I ordered two colors and the sizes were not the same. The shoe was tighter overall on one shoe and fine on the other shoe same foot. Other wise these are wonderful shoes. Will reorder soon.

The shoes look nice, but the strap was very loose on my feet although I have high instep. One cannot adjust the straps so I had to return the shoes.

I have owned 5-6 pair of this particular Bernie Mev style (more of their other styles) so I have some experience with an ongoing quality problem which I've contacted them about. The memory foam soles of this style tends to quickly bunch up in the toe area creating hard mounds that then make the shoes very uncomfortable to wear. I find myself continually wetting the foam down and trying to redistribute it. I LOVE these shoes and they are super comfortable except for this issue. It doesn't happen with every shoe and it doesn't necessarily happen with both shoes of any given pair... but I've owned enough to know that it DOES happen frequently and it's something I think the company should address. One pair did it within weeks so I returned them and the next pair was fine. The problem comes in when it happens months later as with 2 pair I currently have. As I've said, I've written to the company and got no reply.

The higher heel by Bernie Mev fits snugly, this flat was gaping wide.

Did not like the feel of this material on my feet and the sizing is problematic because size 7 is a bit tight but then size 8 really too roomy.

I really like the comfort and softness of the shoe; however, the left inner sole keeps bunching up under my toes causing discomfort and constant readjustment. Readjustment meaning I have to constantly take my left shoe off to fix the sole. Very inconvenient.

Too narrow in the toe area, especially for a shoe that advertises comfort. I wish they worked, b/c they are cute!
