I have been wearing this style boot for the 5 years. Well made and comfortable as any shoe I have worn. The toe is narrow but this is only a negative issue for me if worn during a ten hour day (walking/standing). Try going up 1/2 size if you believe this would be an issue for you. Take the time to "spit polish", you will be rewarded with a high shine, especially on the toe area and sides. I wear this boot primarily for business professional but compliments Wrangler boot jean as well.

I've worn Lucchese boots for the last 25+ years. However, my latest purchase wasn't quite as good as I expected. The boot shaft seems to be wrinkling, and the wrinkle is rubbing against my ankle...causing pain as I'm walking. And the finish of the leather isn't as smooth or shiny as I expected; the leather seems to be porous and dull.

Great boot! This is my 3rd pair! I have tried many other boots yet always come back to these!

These high quality boots don't need breaking in. Just put a protective layer of shoe polish and they will last forever (well, the first pair I bought in 2000 are still going strong and the most comfortable shoes I own...including flip flops)

The Carson boot in black Lone Star Calf leather was comfortable right out of the box. I wore them all day and into the evening with no chaffing or soreness. Great looking boots. Very comfortable.

The boots are great just give them some time to break in and well made boots.

They felt great right out the gate. But soon formed a very un desirable fold in the right boot just behind the hard part of the toe. Which all boots do form fold creases in that area. But this boot only formed one large deep one at abrupt angle which made the boot look like something is wrong with it. Especially next to the other one which formed the normal type of small multiple folds and creases there. If I could return it to get a boot to replace it. Then someone else would be dissatisfied. If I keep this set then I might find that it only gets worse the more they break in. Which is quite possible since I have never owned or seen anybody else that had a boot with a crease like that... I have always worn Lucchese boots but this time Im starting to feel like I should have bought the Tony Lamas this time

Boots were mishapen and did not fit. Disappointed.
