These are cute to look at, but the fit was an entirely different story. They are wide and round at the toes, narrow in the upper foot, then too wide again in the shaft. That is a shame, because I really liked the style.

These are cute. Sort of. They are a bit schizophrenic. They start with laces and switch to buttons. I know you can see that in the picture, but it is a bit too odd for me in person. I have the red boots from years ago with laces all the way up and I love those. Why the buttons, Miz Mooz? As for fit, if you are small and short like me, these are the boots for you. They fit just a bit snuggly at first, but I think that they would stretch.

These boots were exactly what I was looking for but, after trying 3 sizes, I just can't wear them. Normally, I wear an 8, with my right foot being slightly wider and slightly larger but usually getting a shoe stretched at a cobbler's takes care of that. The size 38 was absolutely too small for both my feet - could barely get them on and couldn't zip them over my calves. I've never had that problem before! The 39 was snug on my left and still too tight on my right, still couldn't zip past my calves. The 40 was too long for both my feet but was still too narrow for my right foot. A little stretching would've fixed that, I think, but I still couldn't zip them all the way up and they were too long, overall. I thought about getting the 39 and just getting them stretched a bit but I don't think the boot is high enough quality to warrant the price plus the cost of getting them stretched. I don't know how well they would hold up anyway.

I love Miz Mooz boots and have had many pairs. This is the latest for me and it has been a disappointment. The boots are comfortable as any I have had. They are also super-stylish. However, the buttons are made of pressed leather and are falling apart after just a few months. Then one fell of this morning. I wear my Miz Mooz boots a ton. These are just not holding up nearly as well as past versions I have owned. I will be contacting them about the button issues.

I am a big fan of Miz Mooz and have several pairs of their boots. I love the style of these and was excited to get them, but I have to say, something whacky has gone on with the sizing of these. I ordered a 39, my usual size, the right boot fit pretty tight width wise, and the left boot was so tight I could barely get my foot in it. I ordered a size up and still found the sizing wonky. While the width was now okay on the right,the left was still smaller. And the extra toe room was bothersome to me. These are darling boots but I believe there was some mishap that happened in the manufacturing of these boots. Still, this is a first I have had with sizing issues and I will still continue to buy Miz Mooz, but these were definitely off.

Strangely uncomfortable. The heel was lined with a cardboard like material. Color was more green than grey. Very cute design but I had to return it because of abrasive stiff heel lining. Heel is higher than it looks in pictures.

I really wanted to love these boots, but even though I ordered a 1/2 size bigger they were too small and tight. Though really cute boots when I received them they did not look like a quality boot that was worth exchanging an even larger size for.

I love the style, but they definitely run small. I ordered the first pair in a 7, they were too small in the foot bed and snug around my calf so I exchanged them for an 8 which fit much better.

This boot is adorable, but in no way is this a "wide" anything - calf, ankle, anything. I went up a half-size, and though my foot got in that one, it was impossible to zip shut. I wear a wide calf boot at this point, and the tall version of this shoe is advertised as a wide calf boot. Not going to work for wide calf women if the ankle is not commensurate.

I haven't ordered these boots yet, but Zappos needs to get their act together in regards to proper size conversion. I wear an american 7.5-8 (depending on the shoe) and that is and has always been an european size 39! Posting this in the hopes that it avoids confusion for others wishing to own this super cute pair of boots.

I wear a 7.5 ordered the and it was too small and way too tight on the calf and I have an average calf. Made for a very skinny calf. Returning, not happy.

Beautiful shoe except that the toe turns up a bit too much at the end and way too small and tight. I think Miz Mooz has changed its sizing recently since my old 39 boots fit perfectly but here even a 40 was too tight.

It looks like they re-designed the boot and they look great but I purchased a black pair last year and the button fell off the first time I wore them. I was able to fix but they really fell apart the 2md time and now they can't be worn. I got tons of compliments and love the style but now I can't get a size 6. Sad.
