I have always worn shoe size US 9.5, so I got this pair of shoes in that size. I was really looking forward into replacing my old pair of shoes; however, the shoes I got in the mail were a full size larger than normal. If you are a US 9.5, you should order a size US 9.

I have feet on the larger end (13) but they are not disproportionate like some guys. They aren't super wide, just a larger version of a normal, proportionate foot. These shoes had me bursting out the sidewalls and felt really tight. I ordered another pair of shoes (different manufacturer) when I bought these and they felt amazing even though they weren't running shoes. When I found myself thinking I'd rather run in that pair of casual shoes over the Nikes, I knew it was time to return them.
I'd also recommend:

The shoe I ordered when it arrived was not what was in the box. I have ordered twice from Zappos and twice when I received my order it was not correct. The shoe I ordered was no longer available so I had to go with something else. My son was a little disappointed but he is satisfied with the shoe. I will say Zappos did make it right with me for messing up my order twice but trying to pass the error on to the next person.

Great looking shoe. I haven't worn Nike in years, switched back from Brooks. The Nikes feel tight out of the box, but I think are loosening up a bit after walking around for a couple of days. I have yet to run in them, but expect them to perform well. We'll see how they handle marathon training!

Nice, cushion-y running shoe. Fit is just a tad larger than I'm used to for Nike size, but otherwise fits well. A little stiff at first, but that's to be expected. Make sure you break them in a bit or your feet might hurt after a long run. I really like them.

I purchased these because I owned a previous line of the Nike Flex Run. The Previous pair I owned (2013) offered a generous sized toe box. These in comparison, hurt my feet after a few hours of wearing. Side note: Rocks will get stuck in the sole of these shoes.

Bought for my 12 year old. He started using them in track and field although we didn't plan on that originally. He started complaining of ankle and knee pain. Could be coincidence but the rating is low for the comfort part and lack of support. Good looking shoes, and the breathability make then prevent athlete's foot.

I should have heeded the other reviewers who complained about the narrowness of the toe box in this show. I have this same shoe in the 2014 model and I love it. Was hoping to find the same great shoe in the 2015 model, but I should have returned these immediately. I've worn them a couple of times to try to break them in and they are terribly tight and uncomfortable. I have a small bruise on the top of my left foot from the tight fit.

These are very uncomfortable. The front of the shoe is way too tight! My 2013 model is way more comfortable. What a huge difference. This is progress?

These are really nice shoes. I like that they're a warm-weather shoe like a sandal, but they also will look nice in a casual work setting. I have a bit of a narrow foot, so Naots are a good brand for me. These shoes have a lot of coverage front-to-back, so they feel secure on my foot -- but they don't have a buckle or velcro closure, so I can just slip them on and go. I am an 8.5 and a size 40 worked well for me.

Very lightweight shoe. Seems cheaply made and provides very little support. Thin sole.

Nice looking shoe and comfortable according to my son for whom I ordered the Royal blue color. However, after ONE wear, the blue material on the toe Ina's rubbed off in 3 places. Totally unacceptable especially for an pair of shoes. Thank goodness Zappos is THE BEST place to buy shoes and I am in the process of returning these.

Maybe I had high expectations as a first time customer with Zappos, but I think it is reasonable to expect a pair of shoes to be symmetrical. The toe box was so uneven on the right foot that it looked like an extra wide shoe and felt half a size small. It had obviously been misaligned in the forming and or joining processes. It is kind of difficult to rate a pair of shoes in this condition for comfort, fit, or support, but I still like the somewhat understated style (10½M in grey/red). I would have waited to comment, but the fact that I received another pair of defective asymmetrical Nikes (Roshe Run) in the same order irked me.
