I got these to walk in the waves at the beach in colder weather...AWESOME! Super super happy. I think they are adorable and they are more comfortable than I’d imagined. So happy I can walk near the water all year long now! The are very well made and look great.

I love Hunter rain boots, and these are as great as the ones I already own. I do wish they had a little more color. They're aubergine, and they look black. I'll be wearing them all the time anyway!

I wear 9 and a 1/2 wide. 9 fit perfectly. I originally purchased the wide calf, but they made a "slapping" noise on my calf when I walked. I returned them and purchased these, the original boots. They are perfect. Definitely borderline for room to tuck in jeans.

They measured true to size They are a rubber rain boot so the arch support is moderate but I’m sure you could had an insole if needed Wore them to a pumpkin patch festival they where great for the occasion ?

Great boots and good price. Not made in UK anymore, which is unfortunate but not unusual I suppose. Very watertight and great for rainy days and field work.

I'm in the Navy now, and oh how I like it. These boots are functionally stylish making raining days brighter and my wardrobe so much livelier. The fits is comfortable just add boot sleeves and let's go.

Great boots. Fit perfectly and high up the leg (and I'm 5'11")-perfect for walks through marshy woods.

I have wide feet, usually an 8C in Cole Haan. The 8's in these fit nicely with socks on. I haven't gone on a long walk with them yet, but they seem comfortable so far. I like that it's a dark purple that almost looks black, but isn't quite.

These Wellies, despite the fashionistas, are true to size & suit the purpose. Well done Hunter. 3rd pakora, So happy that Hunter remains true. Styling is fine. Slopping stalls & rounding ‘bout unruly dogs is another thing. We need Wellies!

BEAUTIFUL COLOR!!! In love right out of the box, can go with ANYTHING!! This is my first pair of Hunter boots because I was always skeptical about them fitting my calves- I wouldn't say they're huge but I've never had real slim legs. There is about a 1.5 inch gap around my calf, for me the fit is perfect; I didnt want them to be huge around my legs. I usually wear a 7-7.5 and I got the 7. Right now I have a regular sock + a fuzzy sock on and the boots fit just right; with thin socks it feels a little loose. Perfect fit either way really and they do not feeling clunky. Can't speak much on comfort because I just got them. I was debating between these and the refined boot but I like the look of this original better for it has the white and red label on the front. Don't hesitate!! Plus the price was great!!!

Love my hunters. The original tall is my favorite style. I have an old pair in dark green and wanted another color. I loved the navy but ultimately decided to go with black.

These are my 2nd pair of the original tall hunters and so far I love them as much as my first pair (which are still going strong after 7 years of regular use). I wear them on rainy days and on nature walks with my kids...in the creek, doing yard work... I finally decided I needed a black pair too!

I bought these as a gift for my mother for mother's day - the issue I have is that they were sent in a generic brown box, which isn't aesthetically pleasing for a gift. For me personally, the fit was tight. I go between 8.5-9, got the 9 since I have an older pair of Hunter boots(size 9) that my mother borrows that fit her well. The ones I received were snug around the calf and a little narrow. Again, worst part of the boot is the generic box they came in and there's no tags on them. Doesn't look nice for a gift. Boots were in perfect shape though.

I absolutely love my Hunters. This is the second pair I ordered within a week and love the fashionable style when I wear them. I’m a size 9 and they are true to size. Plan to add more colors to my collection. I’m shocked it took me so long to order them but I’m glad I finally hit the submit order button

In general, I usually wear a size 7 or 7.5 in other brands. Based on prior reviews I read for this boot, I rounded down to a size 7. It feels a little snug, and I don't feel like I can wear thick boot socks with these boots, but overall they are still comfortable enough to wear, and they are very easy to get in and out of. However, if this boot came in a size 7.5, that would have been perfect. I really like the aubergine color with the matte finish -- it's a very dark purple, not garish at all. I definitely think this was worth it for the price I paid (about $75, which was half off).

Socks take up space, suggest purchase if small calves

I wear a 61/2 shoe so I bought these hunter boots in a size 6. Love the fit. I wear with thin socks so a little room in them. Theses boots are a little hard pulling off around the ankle area so I’m afraid to wear a thicker sock with them. May get boot toppers that aren’t a full sock because It makes a sound when walking as it hits against my leg. I ordered the Aubergine color and it’s a nice deep purple almost black if not in good lighting. Seem well made and I can’t wait to wear them with my skinny jeans!

Exactly what I was looking for in a boot. My size 7 1/2 feet fit the size 7 foot bed well, with room enough for thick socks. The fit is a little narrow in the shaft, but my calves still have room. I prefer that as I don't want boots that are too floppy on top. When I wear them with the Hunter fleece liners, the fit is great in the foot bed and very snug in the shaft (but not uncomfortable). This will work especially well shovelling on snowy days because the snow will be kept out while heat is kept in. Hopefully, since these are high end rain boots, they will last a long time. I’m a solid 8 in nearly every brand- with Nike being the exception— (8.5). Keep in mind I have very narrow feet with a high arch.
