These are a bit hard to get on and off. They were rubbing my ankle bone and tight right there - so I could not see wearing them for any extended period of time.

The short answer is they are super cute, really hard to get on at first (but get easier as you break them in, I use a shoe horn), and keep your feet really dry. However, if I do not wear tights or high socks, they rub my legs so bad I get cuts.

I bought these boots for an upcoming trip to Ireland. First, they are heavy, very heavy. Second, they are so tight around the ankle I returned them immediately. I have tall Hunter boots because I live in the country and they are indestructible. So, other than the ankle issue and the weight, I think they were very well made.

They are way too hard to get on and off and too tight around the ankle. I would not recommend these.

I really wanted to like these boots. They were so cute and I love my tall hunters so I thought, why not give these a go?? I received them as a gift for my birthday before I went abroad to Denmark, where it rains a lot, so I thought these would be perfect. I wore them once, and they rubbed the skin of my ankles so raw that I actually had to buy sandals to wear home because it was too painful to walk home in these. I was so disappointed. I never had a problem with my tall hunters, but these boots caused me so much pain. I waited a long time for the scabs to heal on my skin, but even after 3 months the pink blister marks have not gone away. I am afraid these boots have scarred me. 3 months after wearing them for the first time I decided to give them another go. And they rubbed a small patch of my skin raw again. I am just not happy with these boots at all. Really a disappointment and a (literal) pain.

I have no idea how people fit their feet into these boots! If you have a high instep don't even bother with these rain boots. I even exchanged these for the men's style thinking there would be more give and space at the ankle/opening to get my foot in, but still it was a hassle to get these on!

These are virtually impossible to get on and off, a complete hassle. Was able to get the 8's on but they were too big. The 7's probably were a better fit but gave up trying to get them on. Returning them. You're better off going with the Sperrys or Tretorns, cheaper too.

These boots are so stylish! However, I wore them two days in a row and now have a red ring around my ankle. Hurts to walk. Going to wait a few days and try them again with thicker socks? Anyone else having this problem?
