I love the leather and the hardware of this bag. The leather is so soft and supple, I can put quite a bit of my things in it. The only thing I don't like is the leather kinda sheds on my clothes and since I ordered it in black it got in all over my white clothes. It wasn't a big deal I know over time it will eventually stop. I'm thinking about getting a bigger size in Montana may be.

This is a beautiful bag with lots of great little details, the red suede lining, the cell phone pocket in the back.. my one star off is because the bag is just a tiny bit small. Yes I looked at the measurements but it just doesn't fit all I need it to. Margie

I was looking for a nice cross body purse for a daily use. The VIP medium that I purchased is nice. I like the feel of the leather. It's soft. The purse itself is spacious for essentials. Only downside is the strap I feel is too thin. It can be a little uncomfortable as a cross body.

I have been searching for the perfect shoulder/crossbody for years. I ordered this and am VERY happy with it! My only comment is that a section of the leather is probably from the edge of the hide, and doesn't totally match the suppleness of the rest. I have a side hustle making small leather goods from scrap leather, so this doesn't bother me because I like the character, but it may be worth noting for others that don't share my views. Overall, I couldn't be happier! Thank you for nailing my taste, style and size needs! I will probably end up with more in more colors!

Beautiful bag and very soft too! Great bag to use when going out and don't need to take your everyday bag. It's smaller than I thought it would be so that is why I am only giving it four stars. I had really hoped I could have used it for everyday, but it only fit my wallet and phone(which is in back pocket...love) This is my second Hammitt bag and definitely recommend the brand.

It's a very nice purse, just a bit too small for my needs. Color and texture were very nice.

This is a beautiful really gorgeous bag. The leather is amazing. Unfortunately, just too small for me for everyday. I returned it and bought a VIP Large directly from Hammitt because Zappos does not carry this color combination. VIP Large is just perfect, wish Zappos carried it in this color.

This bag was well made. I am particular about the feel of leather and this was quality leather. My Iphone 6 plus fit easily in the back slot, which was a nice feature. I ended up returning it because it just is too small for me. I use a large bag and was hoping to transition to a smaller one. The fault is with me, not the bag. If you like small handbags, this is a really beautiful one. Wish I could be more comfortable with a smaller bag.

Color not as pictured…it’s black. Really well made and a great bag… The crossbody strap is so thin it cut into my shoulder.

I recently posted how I like my bag. I still do. However, after I opened the box, I wrote the company about the thin strap and poor quality. That was shut down quickly as I was told I can purchase a different strap (another $75). The bag only has a small wallet, a single car key, lipstick and liner inside. I still like the bag and have received compliments. But... Sure enough, the strap is fraying. I have had many high end bags and none have broken down like this.

The VIP medium is the perfect size for me. But this particular release just didn't hit the mark. I didn't like the tactile feel and type of leather used. So I returned it. Eventually I will find THE bag. But it wasn't this one.

I love the purse but the strap has become really frayed along the edges after carrying it only a few times. This has never happened with my other Hammit purses so I'm not sure why this one has been different but it is a bit disappointing.

Leather was nice......but I wasn't dazzled. Liked the design of the bag. Strap was too thin.

I own 4 VIP med bags but they have downgrade the quality of the straps significantly (agreeing with other reviews). This calla Lilly crocco strap is the worst quality. Of course they offer the option of buying a nicer matching strap. This is frustrating and disappointing. Because of this I'm now reconsidering buying any more Hammit products.

I wish the cross body strap was better quality ,mine is already fraying

I should have noticed but the bag doesn't have the metal accents like the others. Just pox like protrusions. Also I'm not liking the wider straps. They get hung up in the flap. The leather is nice and soft and I love the color. Just not as pretty without the metal accents.

I love the color and feel of this bag. It is, however, smaller than I expected even after measuring against other bags I own. I will be able to use this bag occasionally, just not as an every day carry as I had planned. It doesn't fit everything I usually carry with me.

It is beautiful soft leather and interior lining. Just perfect until a few weeks of owning the strap has frayed already and the hardware connecting the strap to the purse slips off and doesn't hold. Way too much money for a bag to break and fray that quickly. Hoping there is a warranty and they will fix.

The strap doesn't do the bag justice. It cheapens the bag. The description did say this bag was brown but it doesn't look brown in the picture. Sale was final. I have seen the bags in the store and this one didn't seem to live up to that quality. I did like the size and compartments though.

Ok bag- don't hate it enough to return, don't love it enough to repurchase - it's just more boring than it looks in pics and the leather is a bizarre texture- it already has shadows under the leather where the magnets for the flap hit and the strap is annoying and difficult to adjust - would not repurchase

For the price of this product I can't say I was impressed. The inside has a smell almost like urine. The shoulder strap seems very cheap and black pieces are constantly coming off. My favorite part of the purse though is the cell phone holder.

I ordered this after I saw Hammitt bags in a store but didn't have time to stop and buy. The bag is beautiful - high quality, softy yet sturdy leather, clever design, and attractive hardware. However, there is nothing "medium" in this bag. I can fit a small wallet, my phone and lipstick, but little else. The bag bulges in an unattractive way when too full. I wish I had sent it back and ordered the large. I'm not sure these bags are worth the price given the size.

I wanted this pattern to have and hold from this day forward. A noxious smell from the colorant forced me to break up with it. Please try to move in the direction of vegetable dyes. Good for us and the planet.
