Buyer beware. After less than 90 days the top layer of the leather started peeling off Hammitt says they only have a warranty on zippers and metal parts. They offered a 10% discount on the purchase of a new bag at full price. There are nicer bags that are made with better leather for less price!

This is a very cute, fashionable and functional bag. Love the color, the red accent, and phone pocket. The bag can be worn as a crossbody or clutch. I own several Hammitt bags - like the size options, material and look of them. What I don't like is the sharp price increases over the past few years. The company is going public; perhaps they have to show growth to appease the shareholders. I purchased this bag in May 2019 and it cost $260. The same bag sells in 2022 for $375, a 44% increase, which is quite a lot for the exact same bag. Furthermore, the clasp on my crossbody strap broke, so they sent me a new one for free, which was great. However, the new strap was slightly different - it has a rough unfinished edge that isn't dyed, whereas the original strap is rounded and stitched and the color matches all the way around. In short, the "new style" strap looks cheap, which was a disappointment. I attached a picture, the old strap on top and the replacement on the bottom.

Love this bag but it is so much money. I only took a chance because it was on sale.

Beautiful small bag. High quality.

I saw this bag online and had to have it. I wasn’t sure what size I preferred, so I ordered both the hammitt vip small and the hammitt vip in the same color. First, the color: online the small color looks a shade darker than the regular vip. In person, the pictures are correct, the small is a shade darker. I preferred the lighter shade of the hammitt vip. Second, the size. I really liked the small size more but I wanted to be able to carry my zip close long wallet. It’s pretty big so I ended up keeping the vip regular. If you like the color online and want to be able to carry cards/lip stick/ keys then the small will work for you. If you want to actually want to be able to carry things, the hammitt vip is what you want. I have no plans to use the strap. Just will use this large-ish bag as a clutch.

Love the Hammitt VIP!! I own this style in 2 colors. The leather is buttery... so soft. I love that this cross body is not bulky but yet has a good amount of room and fits my iPhone7 in the back pocket. Multiple zipper pockets keep my small wallet safe and other items easily accessible. It's my new go-to every day purse!!

Super cute shoulder bag. Grommet details add a nice touch to give it an edgy look. Perfect bag when you don't want to carry a lot of things and don't need/want a big tote.

This was the first luxury handbag I ever purchased, and I'm still in love. I get so many compliments on how soft the leather is. The bag holds a lot (keys, phone, fairly big wallet), and there's even an extra compartment on the outside. Plus, gorgeous lining!

I really love the bag, but the strap leaves something to be desired. I plan on using this as a crossbody bag and the strap that I came with feels cheap and too thin. I wish it came with a thicker version. For this reason I may return.

Gorgeous, high-quality bag (I got it in the gray/silver combo) that is deceptively roomy for many items, and with a bit of asymmetry that's appealing to me. That said, neither Zappos nor Hammitt knew if an iPad mini would fit, and unfortunately, the main compartment's zippered opening is about 1/2" too small. I often carry a small tablet when with clients instead of a laptop. Since the point of this purchase was to sometimes go more streamlined than my large Frye Campus Hobo, this pretty bag will be returned. Sad though.

For the cost, I was expecting flawless. Great bag, the silhouette is beautiful but the strap has frayed like crazy. Makes it look cheap. As well, I bought the matching wallet which doesn't fit well in the purse at all. You have to angle it to get it in and out and essentially stretch the opening. I was disappointed as I really wanted to love this bag.

I returned it!!!! Quality versus price was terrible. For a medium size was more like a small. Definitely not what I expected!

This purse was worth every penny! The leather is so soft and my bag goes with everything! The medium size holds all the essentials without being over stuffed!

I just love how this purse looks! It reminds me of happy sunshine! I always get a ton of compliments on it whenever I wear it. The size is perfect!! My two sisters also loved mine, so I just had to get them their own!!!

My favorite bag so far. Function and quality

Love the suede, it's so soft and luxurious. My only concern is if the suede will wear off where the magnets are, as you can see the circle where the magnet is under the material. So far it has held up well though.

I love these purses. Such high quality. I will continue to buy more.
