These are awesome running shoes - these help with form and a great asset to the "new" runner. Light, fits true to size.

I have purchased newtons for five years. I have always been an over pronater. These are the best fit and support out of all of their shoes I have tried. I run between 4-8 miles 5 days a week.

This was the lightest, most comfortable shoe. And supportive! My problem and reason for returning was the extra wide toe box. I have narrow feet and the material was bunching. If you do not have narrow feet, buy these shoes!

Love these shoes - I can fit my orthotics in them and they have helped my running immensely.

Love the styling of this shoe and they are very lightweight. Unfortunately, they don't offer enough arch support for me so I must return.

Very comfortable. Functions like other newtons. Fairly good stability, but does allow a little more rolling than standard running shoes.

I love these shoes! I need a motion control shoe and I was shocked how lightweight and comfortable these are. I should have bought 2 pair because I'm going to wear these everyday.

I have been looking for a running shoe that is light and not bulky...this is it! I don't like to wear sneakers so I want something that feels like air. I noticed Jennifer Garner wearing these in a paparazzi photo and looked them up because I thought they were cute. Turns out they are more than just cute...they are an awesome sneaker! I am a Newton convert!

I love Zappos. 99% of my 26 pairs are from you. I ordered my husband & me another pair. I have a pair to match all my exercising outfits, which are a lot.

Most comfortable athletic shoe I have worn in a long time. The fit is perfect - length, toe box, etc. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I LOVE the fit and comfort of the Kismet. I need a cushy runner and typically wear the Brooks Glycerin. Newton provides the comfort and their fit is more streamline along with being so light weight! Newton is a must for any runner.

I love them. Yes, they are expensive. But as of right this second, I wouldn't recommend a different shoe for running. If you are looking for a walking shoe - this is NOT your shoe. But if you are looking to run properly, mid- to fore-foot strike (NOT HEEL STRIKE), this will get you there. For proper sizing, check out the Newton website - as you can put in your current shoe size and style and it will recommend the perfect size for you.

I bought my first pair of Newton running shoes 2 years ago and absolutely fell in love with them. To be honest, even with all the good reviews that others expressed about these shoes, I was extremely hesitant to spend such a high dollar amount on a pair of workout shoes. But due to Zappos awesome return policy, I decided to take the plunge. I couldn't have been happier with my decision to do so. I exercise at least 3 times a week doing high intensity training workouts and I also jog twice a week, and so I must have good workout shoes. I have never worn such a comfortable shoe ever! Throughout my life, I've worn all the other top brands like Nike, Asics, New Balance and so on, but Newtons far surpass any of them. They are lightweight and give my feet all the right support where needed. I am now on my 2nd pair of Newtons only because I wore my first pair out!!

Perfect shoe!! I overpronate a little bit, and these shoes are amazing. It truly feels like you are running on a cloud - the most comfortable running shoe I have tried yet!

These shoes have been great. My first pair of Newton's and I really like them. I did have to go up a size though, usually an 8 or 8.5, got a 9.5 in these.

If your just standing with these on for the first time it feels like something is stuck to the bottom of your shoe, but as soon as you take off running its like running on a cloud. Seriously! The support and cushion this unique shoe gives your foot is amazing. I had the opportunity to "Test" these on my first 5K last week and the support on the bottom of the shoe literally molds to how your foot lands giving you perfect comfort while running. My feet felt awesome after the run. I havent run more than a mile in 8 years and the week prior to the 5K I ran two miles twice, then went right into the 5K. So my muscles had not yet lengthened and strengthened up. Great shoe! Cannot wait to buy a pair for myself. Ironically, my husband needed a new pair and bought a pair of New Balances the day of the race. A few days later he took them back because they were so uncomfortable. He tried on about 20 different pairs of shoes (no lie, 20!) until he tried a pair of Newtons. He walked out with the Newtons and loves them! I can say I am very envious he got a pair before I did! hope this helps =) I chose moderate arch support for the review because I have a medium arch, and it supports wonderfully. I have had some where it makes my foot arch too much, hence the "Moderate" review I gave.

I love them! After four years of running this is my first pair of Newtons. I run 20-30 miles a week. At times I dealt with shin splints due to overtraining and heel striking. After three weeks I have transitioned to mid-foot striking, no longer have shin issues, I have picked up my pace and the transition was not difficult! Overall I feel my running is more efficient and they are very comfortable!

Love these! love the design details, the fit, the cushioning, the color combo (bought in the turquoise with pink accents). The only part that I don't like is that less than one month into wearing these (rotating with a few other pairs I own - so approx 3 times per week) the inner lining around the ankle was already torn on both shoes (and visible). I continue to wear them though because they are so cute! shouldn't have to buy new shoes at this price every few months though.

So far, so good. Went through the suggested breaking in period. I strongly advise everyone to do this or your calves and ankles will hurt really bad. Not as much cushion as I hoped but does feel very light. Not much arch support for overpronators such as myself. That was a bit of a disappointment since these were recommended for overpronators. I bought half size up. Fits perfectly

These shoes have nowhere near enough cushioning for me. They have good support, yes, but I can't wear them without an additional insole for comfort.

I bought these to help cushion my heel as I am trying to recover from some heel pain/plantar fasciitis and I still want to be active! The fit is nice, but the laces are too short! I need to loop them through the very top hole, since I need the ankle support, and otherwise the shoe feels like it might fall off if I don't. But for the price, I wish the laces were long enough to tie. Sheesh!

These are cute shoes. I wanted to love them, and was especially intrigued by the "lugs" Newton has based their shoes around. As someone suffering from tarsal/metatarsal problems they sounded interesting. However, these shoes were far too narrow in the toe box for me. I have a semi-wide foot and expected these to be wider based on research/reviews. I loved the lightweight upper but just wouldn't have been able to make these work so I ended up returning them.

After reading such great reviews, I was very disappointed with these shoes. The sizing was too small, they offered very little support or cushioning. Not a fan of these.
