I absolutely love these shoes. I have a wide foot with bunions and two hammer toes and these shoes are total comfort with my feet problems. The toe box is the best I have ever experienced. I was wearing the Torin by Altra because they had a wide toe box, but these surpass the Torin. I was a previous runner, but hurt my knee. Now I am a walker. Shoes are light weight, great support, great color and when I walk I feel like I have a spring in my step.

I bought these running shoes about a month ago and the support on the shoe laces is terrible. It completely broke and I was forced to return them. It is sad when in reality these shoes were working perfectly for me. I haven't even used them that much. My dad has his pair and loved them so much he told me to buy these but I won't buy any again, it's simply poor quality materials.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, Saucony

I love these shoes. I've tried other minimal running shoes and these are the only ones that really work for me. Over the years, I've transitioned from a heel to a midfoot striker, in part because of Newtons (starting with the discontinued Lady Isaacs years ago). I'm not super runner; I run 15-20 miles per week, maximum. I've got bunions that, with good shoes like these, generally feel okay and are not getting worse which means I can keep running. I love that these shoes are also light so my slow-as-a-turtle pace isn't further slowed by bulky shoes. Seriously, I love these shoes. I rarely write reviews for products, but I like these shoes enough that I want to let others know that they are pretty awesome!

Fits true to size! Good cushioning. In between the gravity and energy's. Very comfortable. I would buy this shoe again, I liked this over the gravity because it felt like it had more cushioning. For a moderate pace runner this is a good shoe!

Update review: I discovered that I can run/jog in these shoes & they are fabulous....lightweight & fast! However, for some reason, I cannot use them for walks as initially I did & they caused some muscle strain.

These are the most amazing running shoes I have ever owned. Light weight, wider toe box. I have a neuroma and cannot feel it when I have these shoes on. I loved the first pair, so I purchased a second pair 3 days later!! Tons of compliments!! I followed the suggestion and bought them a half size larger, a 7 to a 7.5 PERFECT!

This shoe allowed me to run again after having had pt for a neuroma. Wider toe box. This shoe keeps the pressure completely off the toe area, hence shielding the neuroma from impact. Zappos was wonderful. Received shoes within two days of ordering.

I love this shoe. I tend towards underpronating and it helps keep my stride in check while also being very comfortable and not too stiff. I will always come back to this shoe! Also, if this is your first time trying a Newton shoe, do not ignore their instructions for breaking them in!

I ordered these for my daughter who lives in the USA as a birthday gift. Good value and they were delivered on time. Reports from across the pond is that the running shoes are really great!

Absolutely love my Newtons. I wore Newtons for my first half marathon, and already had them for a year before I trained in them. The lugs are great for comfort, bounce and training not to heel strike, but they also make the shoe last longer because once those wear down a bit, they're still great shoes. I switched to Brooks after my first pair, simply because my local running store didn't carry Newtons so I thought I'd give Brooks a try for my next half marathon. I had a lot of pain in my arch and my feet would go a bit numb on my long runs. This time around, I went back to Newtons and my feet/knees feel great again. No more arch or knee pain. I'd forgotten how much I loved them the first time! They're super bouncy and light, breathable, and also these shoes have a wide foot bed so my wide feet have plenty of room in the toes. I do get a size up though in my running shoes to ensure my toes have plenty of room. Never wearing anything else again!

These are great shoes. I was hesitant to run in Newtons for the longest time but after the advice of my PT, I decided to try these out, I'm just coming off a knee injury due to poor form. These shoes have caused me no pain and are helping me to run in a better way. I'm a heavy runner and these are really comfortable on my feet. I have wide feet and these have plenty of room in the toe box. I highly recommend these shoes. I love the colors too and always get lots of compliments on them when I'm out.

I bought these shoes with high hopes from feedback from some people in my running club. I've received these shoes and just walked in them for a couple weeks, partly because it recommends to and partly I because I was recovering from a bad sprain and couldn't run. Anyway, I developed a major blister on the inner part of the ball of my foot on my first run. I've never had a blister from running in my life, so I am disappointed with these shoes because of that. I've run in them a couple more times and the blister is just getting bigger even though I have popped them and tape my foot during the runs. I'd return them it is wasn't for the fact that I ran across tons of mulberries on my first run. Not sure if Zappos would take them back.

I am a midfoot striker and have been for a while. Still, I followed the break in instructions carefully. All was going well but I notice my forefoot and toes feeling a little squished and slightly numb when I got back from my runs. I thought I just needed to adjust and give it more time but after a month I woke up one morning experiencing numbness and tingling in my legs and quads which made its way up to my lower back eventually. Turns out the extra springy cushioning on the forefoot was compressing my feet to the point of causing nerve damage. I sent these back and Zappos was kind enough to exchange them. I've been a runner for 10 years and I've never had a shoe do that to me. Ouch!

I wanted these to be my dream jogging shoes: love the color, fit is perfect, took my time adjusting to the lugs. Unfortunately, the shoes caused some injury issues with my left side, hip & upper hamstring. The left foot pronates a little while my right foot strike is neutral. That may be the issue. I have read great reviews on this shoe so it works well for numerous people, but I still adore the color & plan to wear it casually once in awhile.... Perfect for St. Patty's Day! ð???
