Burton has always made great products. This was the first time I purchased a kids item though. We live in a ski town and spend every weekend and school breaks on the mountain. My daughters ski lessons are five hours once a week. I was disappointed at the lack of insulation. There's no way this will keep my super active, fast paced, outdoorsy kid warm for the amount of time she spends outside. It's beautifully made and looks great but we need function here. The sizing is what I expected. My daughter is long and lanky 4ft 2" and 46lbs. This is wide enough to wear an insulated layer under but I like a one and done jacket. I will be sticking to Obermeyer in the future, more features, great quality and insulation.

Cute and well made! Hoping it will be warm enough for our Midwestern winters.

Sizing is wrong XS is a 6-7 not a 5-6 as advertised. My 6 year old daughter is 43lbs, and 42inches tall. It’s way to big. I have to roll the sleeves up 3 times just to see her hands. My daughter loves the color so we will keep till next year and maybe it will fit. Other than being to big the jacket looks like it would be perfect for the snow.

Size runs little larger, but still fitted well. It's not too thick and just light enough. Color looks just like the photo. My daughter really loves it.

OMG the pictures on this are weird but my almost 10 year old loves it and wanted to wear it on the drive to the slopes and cannot wait to wear it to school! My daughter is 5’1” and 88lbs. She could have probably worn the size 10-12 but we went with the 14-16 in hopes of making it last 2 seasons. The sleeves are a little long but they don’t encumber her skiing. The jacket lets out to grow with the child which is good. Wish it had more pockets. There are just 2 on the outside and a small ID or ski pass pocket on the inside.

I ordered a Sm 7/8 and the jacket was ginormous for my daughter. I reordered an Xs 5/6 so it said on the site. Still too big as the jacket says 6/7 inside! Frustrating. The jacket though is very pretty. Thinner. I would order a few sizes down.

The coat itself was a great fit but the arms are too long. I am a 4'11, 48 yo woman and I can't imagine how long it would be on kids. Please fix the length of the arms.
