Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
It's hard to find better men's underwear than Calvin Klein briefs. They are a timeless classic and I am very happy to be able to wear them daily. In the early to mid 1990s when me and my brothers were kids/teenagers, we were typical all-American boys that wore whatever kind of underwear our mother bought for us...which meant plain white Hanes or Fruit of the Loom "tighty whities" and nothing else starting at age 3. As most of my friends were like me and also wore whatever their mothers bought for them...it was pretty much tighty whities all around. So at least at my school, most of us were still rocking our plain white briefs well into junior high, high school, and even college. Back then, even though brands such as Hanes, FOTL, and Jockey were still considered the cheaper/economical option, the comfort, support, durability, and overall quality of their briefs were still very high. Flash forward 20 years to 2016...I am now 36 years old and finally HAD to make the switch from wearing my normal white Hanes briefs. When I started college at 18 and started buying my own underwear, I continued to buy the same multi-pack of white Hanes full-cut briefs that I'd worn as a kid/teenager, and I kept buying them over and over through the years until just about 4-5 months ago. Needing to replace some of my older pairs of briefs, I went to Walmart and bought a package of new briefs. Once I got them home, I washed/dried/folded them, and put them away in my top drawer without realizing the poor quality product that Hanes had started making. However, once I put on a pair of my new briefs for the first time, I was surprised with how much rougher and much less soft and supportive than they'd been in the past (I'd noticed their quality going down slowly over time, but not this much). Thinking they'd soften more with several more washes, I didn't think much more about it, but after 3-4 months of wearing and washing each pair several times, they never once softened or became easier to wear. I finally decided to make a switch and start finding my next preferred brand of underwear. Since I've always worn classic white briefs and nothing else, I had no desire to switch styles/colors...just brands. So after trying many different brands ranging from those that were cheap to those that were more expensive, I came across these Calvin Klein briefs on sale at a department store. I was skeptical at first because the package said "low rise" on them. Having always worn cheap white briefs that were full cut, I wasn't sure what low rise meant...but I needed underwear so I went ahead and bought them. When I got them home and placed a pair of the new CK briefs on top of my regular Hanes (without trying them on), I was at first upset that I'd bought some kind of skimpy bikini briefs; but after washing them and immediately trying them on, I have to say that I was instantly HOOKED. The entire rest of that day, I was so happy to be wearing classic white briefs that felt the way underwear is apparently supposed to. These briefs are soft and comfortable, supportive in all the right places, and have held up just like new even after multiple wears/washes. As a pretty active and athletic guy that runs/works out daily, I stay trim and physically fit, and the low rise style of these briefs sit on my waist and fit so much better than my previous underwear. Even though I'm normally accustomed to paying a maximum of $12-15 for a package of 7-8 pairs of cheap tighty whities, these Calvin Klein briefs are SO worth the extra $$$. Because they hold up so well and are a much better quality, I don't have to buy new underwear nearly as often as I previously did. To that end, I've made a couple of purchases from both Zappos and Amazon in order to begin replacing every last pair of cheap white Hanes that are still sitting at the bottom of my underwear drawer. While I'm still a die-hard tighty whities guy (that's NOT going to change anytime soon), I'm very glad to finally have white briefs that are comfortable to wear. Thanks to Calvin Klein for making them and to Zappos for selling them!

I've been wearing CK Style U1183 for many years but sadly, CK apparently stopped manufacturing that style about 2 years ago. I had tried several other brands/styles but found the leg openings were either too large, the elastic wouldn't last more than a few washings, or they were just plain uncomfortable. My old U1183's were about to "blow away like dandelion spores" (Seinfeld reference) so I decided to give this CK U4183 style a try. I came across it after trying yet again to find the U1183 style. These are very similar to the old U1183. They are extremely soft and comfortable and the fit is great. If after several washings my experience changes (I don't expect that) I will update this review. Of course and as always, the ordering and shipping on Zappos was great! I know it is for their shoes but when I came across Zappos selling this product, I felt good about buying them from Zappos, mainly due to their GREAT customer service.

These are well reviewed, and so I decided to try them even though I usually wear Jockey Classic Briefs. Unfortunately, while these seem well made, they are too small for me. I usually get the Jockeys in size 40 or 42. I got these in XL, which should have been equivalent. Not so. They feel more like size 36 or 38 at most. The low rise waist probably amplifies this. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be able to put them into my rotation.

These run small. I wear a 33 waist in Levi’s and 35 dress slacks, so I tried Large (36-38). Uncomfortably small. I then ordered XL (40-42). XL is a touch large for me, but way better than too snug. I’ve been wearing CK briefs for years and always wore a Large, till now. My old Larges still fit fine after years of drying. Great product!

I have worn this underwear for more time and although the packaging and the price change, it seems to maintain the same quality that I have come to expect.

Good value for the cost. For those of us who wear briefs, these are true to stated sizing, well made and comfortable.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
The best everyday underwear you can buy...the color stays true and won't start to get dingy after a few washes like white will...also won't show any sort of stains. Black also looks super sexy if you happen to be in a situation where you're um...showing off...

My everyday go-to underwear...these are sexy without sacrificing comfort. Also, I feel like the Calvin Klein brand is a brand that makes other men take note--a head turning brand. The choice of color is nice too because it keeps people from thinking you're reusing your undies until you can do laundry lol.

It's underwear, for Pete's sake, so there's not a whole to to say. But, they keep their shape for a good, long time, and they keep the equipment high and tight. If those two things are important to you then these underpants are for you.

Purchased several packages of these for my husband who loved his older pairs of Calvin Klein sporty briefs (purchased a few years ago and underwear doesn't last forever!) He finds these comfortable and worth the price. I used a seam ripper to carefully remove all the layers(!) of tags stitched to and flapping inside the waistband. They were really unnecessary and could cause annoyances while wearing.

These run a bit small. If you are a 30" waist I would say size up to the medium. I kept these but will buy M next time.

These are my go to underwear. This order seems different, less soft and different tags. Not an improvement!
