I have this same type Dr. Scholl's vintage, wood, buckle sandals in blue that I wear today that I bought 25+ years ago! So we know they've got staying power, and this classic design never goes out of style. And for good reason.. it's all about the comfort & original design! I got these faux wood ones in black, size 8. Nice black color, adjustable buckle just like the oldies, and the faux wood is a smooth fit, but I will have to say I like the real wood better..seems like they grip my feet more securely. I still love these, though, and bought them again in a hot minute. I did place an order for a white pair. These are 5*****!

This sandal is super light and comfortable from the minute I put them on. Lighter and easier on the feet than the wood!

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I was surprised as this is my first time to buy Dr. Scholl's shoes. I thought the wooden base would be harsh. Imagine my surprise when they felt like a dream.

For those who love the wooden original sandal, this is the more comfortable little sister! The footbed is made of a soft, cushioning material that makes it super easy to wear. Looks like wood, only better!

Very nice I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward for them to be wooden the way they used to be a long time ago but I like them and they're comfortable and they're cute and I would definitely recommend Dr. Scholls .I did order another pair of shoes a little pricey but I need good shoes for my feet sincerely Josephine

Love my new white sandals. They are a great addition to my collection. Needed a light color.

I bought a pair just like these from crocs and fell in love. Crocs ended up discontinuing them so a I was searching the internet for something similar and came across these. I'm in love. The quality is much better than the crocs. I love the leather strap. To be honest if these were like the 1980 style with the wooden footbed, they were not be half as comfy. Kudos for changing the material. I will buy a pair in every color. I wear nothing else in the summer. Keep in mind it takes a few wears to break them in so be patient. Once you do you will wear nothing else!

I met this shoe when I was 18, and have rediscovered it. It's better than I remember, and oh so chic. The quality is fantastic and appreciated. With or without socks this timeless shoe rocks. Already getting looks.
