Sandals are great, but after ordering online, I noticed a dramatic increase in spam email.

Everyday flip flop, simple and comfy, not the same as it used to be though. somewhat disappointed in changes and won't likely purchase again. Flip flop is stiffer now and the botttom sole surface is actually slippery. Also, item received doesn't match images shown online-images show previous model with more flexible sole and materials.

Fits great, very comfortable; however, the metallic threading began to unravel IMMEDIATELY after the first time I wore them. If you don't mind lopsided embroidery this is the sandal for you. Otherwise I'd stick with more traditional looking Reefs.

Really cute shoes, but much smaller than the marked size. Unfortunately I must return them.

This sandal is great looking, but made for only one foot type - narrow. If your foot is even slightly wider than the strictest definition of narrow, do not buy this sandal. If you are truly narrow, then this is the sandal for you. I purchased a cross strap sandal as well and it appears that Reef primarily caters to the narrow foot - wide feet beware.

I am slightly disappointed with them. They are saying true to size, but they are not. When I bought the first pair back in 2011 in a store the clerk told me that the black with colored straps ran short, but they were wide. I tried them and they were great for my wide feet and I wear a 7- 7 1/2. Two years later I bought another black with color and a brown pair. The black was spot on and the browns were slightly tight and slightly shorter. Then fall of 2016 ordered two solid black and they are about 1/4 inches shorter and not as wide. Now these brown ones are even 1/4 shorter than that and not as wide. I like them a lot for once it gets warm enough I am in flip flops all the time since I can not find sandals that fit with my wide ball feet, but narrow heels. They are very comfortable, but the size keeps shrinking.

I have worn Reef Sandy for years! Unfortunately over the years I have seen these shoes change with cushion (what their known for) sizing and now width! I have always had to order 1 full size up in these for proper fit. I ordered 2 pairs same size and one for normal the other is narrower and shorter. They both went back and have since switched to another brand. Very disappointing like loosing an old friend!

Loved the look and feel, but I'm an 8.5 and the 9's were too small so I sent them back.

I love these sandals but after roughly 5 wears the straps split in the middle. Wish I could get them repaired. :(

These use to be my go to flip flops since middle school. I've found that the quality seems to be diminishing as the years go by.
These are good while they last. For me, wearing 3-4 times a week they're done for in about 6 months.
Also noticed there aren't as many styles of sandy available anymore. Maybe reef knows they're slacking.
Overall: comfortable, not well made ( like they use to be)

I like my Reef's, however, not the same as years ago, but what is? The sole is the hard plastic and not soft rubber and the straps were a little tight across my foot, which my foot is very narrow, so I though that was odd!

I've been buying this exact same pair of flip flops every year for the last ten years. Ordered these in the same size I always do, yet somehow they are way too small. Since I'm leaving for vacation in a few days, I just decided to wear them and hope they'll loosen up a bit, but there's not much that can be done about the sole of the shoe being so much shorter than usual. I even held them up alongside the last two pairs I bought and they are noticeably shorter. Moving forward I will order at least a half size larger.

Found these a bit small compared to other Reef sandals I've bought over the years. Narrow and shorter, not true to size. Left foot right on edge at heel which is not what I've experienced in the past. However, not sure if next size would be too big! Will not buy this style again unless reviews show improvement.

I had a pair of these for years and looks like the sole is a bit changed up but that's ok. The sad part is they run about 1/2 to 1 size small. I'd order up!! Luckily I ordered a size up for my husband just not mine :(

I wanted to replace the Reefs that are my all-time favorite flip flops that I have had for years, in black and brown, before they fall apart. but these don't come close. No arch support and stiff and with half the sole thickness, looking and feeling much more cheaply made then the ones I have and not comfortable at all. Either you're making them a lot cheaper or there is another more similar style I overlooked, though the picture of these looked the same. The second possibility is the only reason I didn't give less than 3 stars. I'll be returning these and won't get Reefs again unless I happen to find acceptable ones in a store.

I love these sandals, but they are so hard to find right now. I appreciate that it appears that Reef is ramping up on different styles of shoes, but I think they underestimated production on the sandy and sandy loves.

I had a pair that finally died (well actually a dog helped with that) and those were probably about 5 years old. I loved them. Even wore them to places like Disneyland and my feet were always comfortable with no chafing from the thong part. I bought this year's Sandy and it isn't quite the same. They feel harder/denser, not quite so squishy and moldable to my foot. The thong straps feel the same but the bottom is different. Why did you guys change this? I've been wearing them for about an hour and my right heel is starting to hurt from the hardness.

The comfort and size are good, but they've been turning the bottom of my feet black. I had two other similar pairs of black Reefs in the past and this did not happen in the older ones.

I love wearing these flip flops......outside, in the house as my" indoor slippers", and at the beach. Great price for the quality. I kept the brown ones, because the dye did not rub off on my feet. I did return 2 of the black ones.

I had a pair of Reef Sandy that were passed down to me from my mom when I was pregnant and my feet had swollen. I could not find a comfortable shoe that would fit my swollen feet until my mom gave me hers which they were already 4-5 years old. They were still in great condition and extremely comfortable! I wore them for an additional 3 years and accidentally left them in a hotel room!!! I decided to order me a new pair and was so disappointed because they did not fit like the older ones. They were way more narrow! I definitely recommend Reef to anyone with a narrow foot but would love to see them made in wide!

I preferred a better arch support, a slight edge that surrounds and supports your foot, plus a slight ridge between toes and ball of foot. my one and only pair of Reefs before this were great. Simple, black, and so comfortable. I got my adult kids the same style and they loved them also. The description doesn't give that much information unfortunately.

I purchased a pr of brown Sandy reefs last year. I loved them so I hunted Blk this year. Did not find them so I ordered 2 prs of blk on line. THe ones this year are not as wide or long in the same size. Still like them though.

I've been wearing Reef Sandy style flip flops for over 10 years. Originally they were true to size, but now I have to get a full size larger. No big deal, but just a heads up to others. The main problem is that however they are being made now is causing jet black ink to stain the bottom of my feet. I just bought 3 pair, tried to hose them down repeatedly once I realized but to no avail, and now I'm stuck with them. The black transfers to every surface when I take my shoes off, as well. Unless this recent development changes (the originals never had this issue), I doubt I'd by more in the future.

THe flip flops are very comfortble. The only bad thing about them is that they turn the bottom of my feet black. This happened right out of the box. I have never had this happen with Reef shoes before.

It was not as squishy as my Reefs have been in the past, but still a good flip-flop.
