They changed the Sandy and not for the better, imo. The sole is much stiffer and heavier and the straps feel looser. I’ve had multiple Sandy’s over the years and I’m super sad they changed. I wish they’d make fun colors again too.

I ordered my normal size and these were too small. They did feel very cushiony and if they fit, I would have kept them.

I am so bummed. These are my third pair of reefs in 7 years. The first two are still in decent condition from over 5 years ago, so I figured I would get a new pair in preparation for a vacation. However, I’m terrified to bring these with me because they are so darn slippery! Just walking on the wood floors in my house, makes me feel so unsafe and I can sense my walking patterns changing to accommodate it being so slippery. Too bad I trusted the brand and threw out the tags, or else they would be returned!

I ordered these sandals without reading any reviews, because I was replacing an existing pair (that I only needed to replace because someone took one of mine in error poolside and left me a mismatched mate!). I was shocked when these arrived because they felt lighter and flimsier, and were a full size smaller than they should be. I wear a 9 women’s all the time, and if anything it’s often a little roomy, but in these my heels were hanging off the back, and they were far narrower and Jan my previous pair. It looked like I didn’t know how to buy shoes in my size. Upon reading the reviews, I see I’m not alone and this is a definitive manufacturing/quality issue. A true shame because these were the only flip flops I would wear reliably, and I felt they were worth every penny in their previous iterations. I hope they reconsider their approach going forward. These flip flops have become a total FLOP.

The bottoms are smooth so the shoes are very slippery. I have fallen on more than one occasion.

The fit runs a bit small, which works for me, as I have a small narrow foot. I love them, except for one very important thing/ The bottoms are VERY slippery! My old reefs, same style ( Sandy) had great grip on the soles. These are treacherous on any smooth surface!! I can't even wear them! Nearly broke my neck on a laminate floor. it was not wet, neither were the shoes. If I hadn't already worn them outdoors, I would return them. I am so disappointed in Reef!

Quality has severely diminished. I used to wear these for at least 2 years and only had to replace bc the sole wore thin. Had to reorder a size up which I’ve never had to do in reef sandals. These only lasted a few months before they broke and the soles were separating!

Size it true to size for reef. I'm at 7.5 and the 7 fit well. But these are not the style they are known for. Should've known by the price. Don't order this one.

You have to order a size up on these flip flops so your feet fit but when you do that it makes the straps way too loose. I’ve owned several pairs of these flip flops over the years and they have been amazing. These are not the same! They are clunky, you have to order a size up which makes the straps too large and the bottoms are now kinda slick compared to the tire like soles of the previous pairs. I should’ve listened to the reviews and just tried a new brand all together. So disappointed in reef for changing a good thing.

I've worn Reef flip flops since the late 90s/early 00s and this is my go to style. They're great shoes and I love wearing them.

Because of reviews I ordered a size up from what I ordered in the past. And they were huge! Sending them back and ordered the normal size for me. Fit is perfect, just like in the past. Still same comfort too. Maybe there was a bad batch out there for awhile but I would say order normal size for yourself.

Perfect. Exact replacement for the Sandy pair I broke. Same sizing, comfort, materials. Thank goodness they arrived quickly since being without Reef shoes is an emergency.

Reefs are my fav flip flop/slaps. I live at the beach and I totally have a pair of slaps I use for walking around town, and a pair exclusively for the beach. My dressy ones and my casual (usually a bit more beat up pair). I don't even look for another brand as Reefs have arch support. And the soft webbing doesn't cause any blisters between the toes.

Arch support, arch support, these slaps have arch support. And I am here for it!

Nice snug fit so my feet so don't slide around in the shoes as I walk. Good light neutral color to wear with anything.

Reef sandals are always so comfortable with the wide strap on top! They are a very secure flip flop. Love the colors and styles !

This shoe is very comfortable. I’ve had them before and they are always reliable. They aren’t the most stylish, but it’s more important that my feet are happy.

Normally buy 5 and bought a 6 instead, which was perfect.
