Lovely soft upper, does seem to have hollow heel. Will see how it wears.

I absolutely love these boots. I bought them specifically for a trip to Europe, and needed something that looked nice and was comfortable enough to walk in. The first day we walked over three miles and my feet felt just fine, no blisters! These boots are very comfortable out of the box, no breaking in needed. Additionally, I want to mention that I have wide feet, and these boots fit great.

Oh my Lord, these are like butter! Soft, smooth leather and they fit like a glove but with plenty of room for my toes. So stylish with larger-legged pants covering the top of the boot, or with leggings tucked into it - very versatile! My new favorite shoe!

I was apprehensive about buying these - I tend to wear heels all the time, and I also have a wider foot. I absolutely love them. I wear thin socks with them, and they fit my 11W fine, and they're pretty comfortable. The leather is very nice - everything about them looks well made and classy. This is a brand I will definitely try more of.

These boots fit me perfectly, I wore them all day with no problem. I usually need to "break in" new leather shoes but not these. The leather is so soft and the quality of it and the shoes is superb.

I had similar boot before and when I found the Spring Step Galil I had to have them. I was not disappointed, the shiny leather looks great (not like patent leather) and it is soft.The fit it perfect; I wear a size 8M in most shoes and the 7.5-8 fit just right. Great boots!

These shoes are nothing short of stunning. I purchased the black and I'm going to get myself another pair in brown. they fit well, they're comfortable and look high-quality. I wear an 8 1/2 wide and purchased these in 8 1/2 medium, I can wear them just fine as long as I don't wear thick socks; however, I may size up to a 9 with my next pair simply because of a wide foot and winter wear I may want thicker socks. I can wear these with dress as well as casual. Highly recommended!

Supple and soft with a snug foot bed. These are made on a last similar to a true 80's style boot. If you are looking for that style, order these. They were narrow and comfortable but not what I was searching for in the end.

Such fine and beautiful shoes! Very classy, and soft, beautiful leather. Unfortunately the sole feels very hard to me. Overall, the shoe fit, and felt like, an old fashioned (read: not particularly cushy) dress shoe, with an inflexible toe cap and hard sole. If you don't generally find shoe soles too hard, these shoes are to die for and you will love them.

These are darling boots, but there's not much support there. I need both a supportive shoe and cushioning. This boot provides neither. Too bad.

Love that they are leather so polishing them is easy. These are great it you have a narrow heal like me, no slippage when walking. Only negative is although the thinner leather makes walking easy, the insole could use more padding.

Absolutely love these boots! I'm only returning them because I purchased another pair of Spring Step boots and couldn't afford to keep both. :( Don't hesitate to buy this brand or style. You will LOVE them! Comfortable, well made, and very high quality. Beautiful soft leather.

I have worn these cute boots several times now. They look great with dresses and pants, and best of all, I danced in them for hours with no sore feet! I can't wait to try more shoes from this brand.

Another amazing Spring Step shoe! Butter soft leather, super lightweight, and a great fit for my somewhat long and narrow feet. I do not fold down the cuff and the result is a sort of Victorian-inspired look - love it! Thanks, Zappos!

Such a pretty and comfy shoe

Love these boots. They are perfect for pants or long dresses. My feet have grown this past year, so I ordered a 10 and that was perfect. There's plenty of toe room and room for my bunion. I'm 75 years od, so only go for comfort, but stylish. This is my first pair of Spring Step shoes.

These boots are adorable! They can dress up or down, with dresses or jeans. I wear them with my Saebo Step brace, which I wear for drop foot, without any problem.

Wonderful materials, beautifully crafted. But, too tight in the toe-box, so must return.

Great boot that was comfortable right out of the box. I usually wear the tops turned down but either way is cute depending on outfit. They have a sleek, trim toe and leather which is dressier than many ankle boots. I bought my normal size, 8,5 M, black.

This shoe ran a little small and narrow for my foot.

Great quality, The boot fit great. I can wear with a dress for the office, or a pant suity. And it will add a nice touch to bluejeans too.

The shoe fit nicely. The heel is just the right height, I can walk in and be comfortable. Yet, the shoe is stylish. I can wear with a dress, pants, and blue jeans.

Too small even though I previously had the same style in Bordeaux. Oh well, these are lovely boots otherwise, the sizing must've changed a bit.

Quite a number of years ago (pre internet), I made an impulse purchase - a pair of black boots, lace up, with a fold-over tongue. They were the most money I had ever spent on shoes, but quite literally, fabulous - comfortable, chic. When I eventually had kids, they named them the "witch boots". After about 20 years, they (boots, not kids) started to fall apart (leather torn near sole, sole worn thru). But my then teenage daughter kept wearing them (she could still rock them, I knew better) - only giving up when the snow leaked in. I had always wished I could get another pair, but didn't know the brand. fast forward: while browsing for some flats, I SAW MY BOOTS. so second impulse buy. They still fit just as well, and there are a few improvements - stacked heel instead of leather covered (less likely to be nicked). and I think, better lined. I need more of an arch now, but there is plenty of room for an insert. I think I am good for another 20 years. Although I notice they come in other colors now so maybe not.
