Never tried this brand before and I must admit they are very comfort but the workmanship is very poor. Not sewn well where the colors overlap. Sole was not all the same color.

Gorgeous and comfortable. I have bunions and get pain in my first toe (after the big toe) when I walk. I could walk in these for days. As I usually do with this brand, I ordered one size up. I'm a 38 usually and got a 39 in this. In some of their models I have needed to go 2 full sizes up, but one was enough in this case. They are comfortable with a little extra room.

These fit true to size both in length and width. They looked like they may be too big out of the box, but that is just the build and swirl design making them look that way. They do not make my big feet look any bigger (yay!). They are very comfortable for all day wear - I work on a concrete floors and do not just sit all day. The support is moderate, though the footbeds are removeable and a more supportive footbed could be inserted if needed. I love the more unique design rather than just plain shoe.

I wear a size 6 and was not sure that European size 36 would fit, which is listed as being 5.5 and 6, but this shoe fit very well and is very comfortable. I require a deeper vamp on my shoes and the vamp on these shoes is perfect. They are very attractive with brown and black leather intertwined on the vamp of these shoes. The strap is velcro and long enough to fit even a high instep. The leather is soft where it needs to be. Overall a very comfortable and attractive shoe. I am glad I purchased them.

Loved the look of these shoes...in fact, although I am returning this pair, I am planning on re-ordering. The right one was quite comfy, but the left...mmm not so much. There was some rough stitching (glue??) on the inner part, and as these are not shoes one wears with socks..it rubbed very uncomfortably. The way the shoes were packed, it appears that I am not the first one to send them back. Paper was all wadded in the box and the box was quite scuffed. The shoes themselves looked fine. I love the black and brown, and hope they will replace both my black ballet flats and the brown ones also. Planning on wearing them for my upcoming trip to Italy, recognizing that buying shoes made in italy to wear to Italy is a decision I may regret. I couldn't find a place to buy this brand in Italy, so who knows.

This shoe looks better on your feet than on the computer screen. The blue is a subtle, medium-shade of gray-blue and will go with a lot of colors. They are definitely a 1/2 size smaller than the size range listed on the website, the size 38 is a true size 7. They are very comfortable, with a roomy enough toe and yet not sloppy in the heel or through the midsole, so a great choice for those of us who want toe room but have a narrower heel. Also, the heel is lower than the 1", more like 1/2 or 5/8" when you subtract the overall platform. I'm really pleased with these, but did not give them 5 stars as they are a little stiff out of the box and I haven't worn them out-and-about yet. Also, I wonder about durability, as the uppers look very high quality, but the soles don't have the kind of tread that lasts well, and may not hold up on sidewalks.

They fit ok and are very cute but I'm not sure I will keep them. It doesn't seem to have enough arch support for me. I tried them because reviews said the toe box was wide and that is a big thing for me.

I am broken-hearted. They are perfect but at a size 11 there is no bigger size, sigh, so I must return them. I found they run a 1/2 to full size smaller.

I liked the shoes, but the space between the footbed and the strap was enormous. I don't think I have unusual feet, but I'm not carrying any fat on them (they gloat about that a lot) and I could put two fingers between my foot and the strap even pulled to the very edge of the velcro. I have a high-ish arch, too.

I thought the shoe was cute but could not fit it to my foot. I usually wear a size 8 but will size up if the shoe has a narrow toe box. This shoe does not have a narrow toe box. That and based on the reviews, I ordered size 38, which was too small.

Although the size was probably true, there is not enough toe room (vertically), so when I walk in them, the top of the shoe presses on my big toe. I think a size or even a half size larger would be too loose elsewhere on the shoe.The lack of arch support is disappointing. The insoles are soft, but do not provide support. In spite of these issues, I might keep the shoe, but even after 2 weeks of airing them, there is still a strong smell of rubber from the soles, enough so that it would most likely be noticeable to others around me. It might not be offensive to everyone, but is not pleasant to me. For this reason I am returning them.

The shoe is as pictured and in my opinion reasonably attractive. It feels a little wide, which in my case is actually a plus because it does not press on my bunions. However, I am disappointed in the lack of arch support and feel that the description of "generously padded footbed" is a real stretch. The insole is almost paper thin and provides minimal padding. Since it is removable, though, I am hopeful of finding a more supportive insole that will fit. I gave it only a 3 star rating on comfort because of the lack of support. My biggest problem with the shoe is that there is a very pungent rubber smell to it, what you would expect in a tire store. I will air them for a day or two to see if it subsides before I decide whether or not to keep them.

I wish I had returned these when I had the chance. While they are super cute, there are two things I hate about them: 1) the leather around the ankle has pointy/scratchy seems on the inside that hurt my foot even when I'm wearing anklet socks. 2) the velcro strap over the top is about 1-2 inches too long and looks rather ridiculous (it reaches the sole of the shoe!) and is splaying out to the side as well. If Zappos reads this I'd love to return them, but I force myself to wear them as they weren't inexpensive and I'm passed any return time window at this point. But I wouldn't recommend these to anyone. :-(

I have these same shoes in the red, which actually looks brown, and they fit and are comfortable. These, however, were tight and the shoes were scratched and not made well.

I bought this in my regular 40 size, but it was too small. So I bought 41, the next size up. But it was too big. Because I adore this style, I pretended the 41 would work with added inserts or thick socks. But it doesn't. And, in my optimism, I threw the box away so I can't return them.

These shoes had a STRONG rubber smell as soon as I took them out of box. I waited to see if it would get better but with latex sensitivities I couldn't handle it, going back.

Shoe was very uncomfortable. Tried several times to wear it around house. Leather felt extremely stiff. Overall, a bad shoe for me.

Got these for my mom, and she LOVES them! She is 83 and stylish, has neuropathy and a stiff right ankle from a horse riding accident years ago, a wider foot but not quite enough for a wide width, and a high instep that usually precludes a Mary Jane strap... and yet these fit her perfectly! The edge doesn't cut into her foot, the width is comfortable, the strap is long enough and doesn't look tacky even though it's velcro, and the sole is supportive and plush inside. If she liked the red version, I'd order those for her! Absolutely recommend these, and what a beautiful, unique, artistic shoe for an amazing price! Love Spring Step!

So comfortable and cute!

I like the style and own the Blue, which I wear often. However, the Black/Tan combo doesn't appeal to me. Hoping that the Red comes back in stock. The shoe fits accommodates my orthotics nicely. I am happy to find a fun looking shoe in Size 5!

Put these on and immediately felt great! New fav shoe.

This is my 2nd pair of these shoes. The first, in brown, I still wear and enjoy even though they are now rather old! They are holding up well and have even been on unanticipated hikes! I am very pleased with them.

Cute shoes - but on my left foot they were tight across the toes and the widest part of my foot.
