I wanted to love these shoes, as they are beautiful and well made, but they are too wide in the heel and ankle for me. They slip up and down especially on stairs. It's probably just the shape of my foot that is not compatible with this style.

they were too small even though i have the wine colored pair in the exact same size and they fit fine. they are super cute but the boot does not fit right. It feels as if the fitted heel parts were switched and the one meant for the right side was put on the left show and vice versa.

Stylish and comfortable. Good for wide feet.

I did not care for the look.

this is my second pair, it is too small. my first pair was the exact size and fit really well. also the color is not as shown on the website. so i must return .

The shoe looked great online. I was disappointed when I received them.

These are lovely. I wanted these to work so badly. They would love great with skirts, leggings or jeans. They are unique and not the average boot, so they make a statement on their own. The problem is I am running around all day. These boots won’t be able to support me all day. I have a foot that runs narrow without being completely in that size grouping. So, it may work for someone else. With Zappos’s great return policy, definitely worth a try!

The arch seemed like it was totally in the wrong place. I ordered my size (7.5). If I had ordered a half size larger I think the boot would have been too big. If I ordered a 7 I think the boot would have been too narrow and small. Very disappointing because I love the look.

I am truly disappointed in this boot. It is beautiful in the photo and beautiful in the box, but not once I put them on, and the sizing is way off. I wear a 6M with a foot on the slender side, and ordered these in both 36-6M and 35-5M. Got the 35s first and was amazed at how big they were. I would need a 4 1/2 in these and they don't make them. Even with thicker socks my feet slid around in the 35s. There isn't much arch support that I could tell and the footbed could use some cushioning. The one thing about the design that wouldn't work for me even if they had fit is that this shoe design is meant to be fitted at the top, but these boots have a big gap above the ankle that looks very awkward and unattractive in my opinion. You would have to not mind that or have very thick ankles to look good in them. My husband took one look at them on me and said "Yuck." About the last thing I expected when I ordered them. Unfortunately, they have to be returned. I will stick to the Rieker Annemarie and Rebecca styles and Cobb Hill has some vintage-looking offerings that fit better and are very comfortable.

PAINFUL! These are gorgeous, but the least comfortable shoes I've tried in a really long time. I even purchased three different supports/ gel pads to try with the, but to no avail. It's so unfortunate. They are pricey and well-designed for looks, but they will hurt your feet!

I was very disappointed in these shoes. I absolutely love the picture and looked everywhere to find them in my size. When they came, they did not look like a pair. The design has a fold/wrinkle in the shoe. The left shoe had that and the right shoe did not. For the money, I felt I could not keep them with that defect

All of the 8 pairs of Spring Step shoes I ordered I had to return. They were not shoes; they were SCULPTURE. Completely inflexible, hard, poorly made, missing parts, bad dye job, and extremely stiff and uncomfortable. I returned them all. Your foot should be the arch support, not the shoe. If a shoe holds the foot motionless, then it atrophies, because the muscles, bones, and joints are not used. Zappos sent me this pair with its metal buttons MISSING! Quality control please!
