This is the quintessential leather sneaker. I purchased it originally in a 6-1/2W, my usual size, which I found just a smidgen too short and too tight. I replaced the pair with a 7W and felt it to be the right size.

Very comfortable. I bought these for my wife as president. She is a diabetic. This replaced as you that she loves to wear with her jeans. She actually found it kind of stylish and kind of sporty. She loves the way they feel and the support all around is excellent.

These sneakers came in my size with the width I needed. It is difficult to find a size 11 in wide width and have this style of ankle support I want. I have a chose in New Balance for the activities I do. They are light and I workout in an aerobic class quit a bit.

I normally wear a size 8 - but size up a half size for athletic shoes as I tend to wear them with thick socks. The 81/2 rubbed my left heel and felt too small for my toes. So I went up to a 9 - and I am so glad I did. They are now fully comfortable, I have plenty of room without swimming in them and no longer am wondering if my feet decided to change form on me overnight! Plus I think they look pretty cute too. New Balance just makes a great product for your feet. And thanks to Zappos - there was no running back to a shoe stores, hassling with parking or the store being out of the size I need. Zappos - you're the bestest!

The fit was satisfactory. The top rubbed my ankle and I returned the shoes. They were purchased to go on an international 3 week trip so they needed to be comfortable in every area. I just did not have time to break them in.

Fits well. I’ve bought the 608v4’s many times before. No break in period needed. Comfortable from the start. I’ll keep buying them

Shoe fits beautifully! I can't tell you how many shoes I have gone through, but let's just say over a dozen; trying to find a pair that fits comfortably and can be worn in the rain. This shoe fits the bill, perfectly. The fit is what I expected, the protection is what I hoped for. This shoe has what I would consider a neutral arch and footbed. It does not force your foot over to the outside (to balance overpronation), nor does it push in inward, as it would for underpronators (which I am). Usually, I have to buy Asics shoes for underpronators, and they don't make them in leather unless you are willing to pay a small fortune for them. Since I am retired and strictly on SS income, those expensive shoes are out of the question. These shoes are perfect for me, roomy toe area and comfortable footbed. Will buy again!

I really needed these in narrow, but they were unavailable. So, I tried the Medium width. It was just too wide for me.

This is my second pair I have bought! My first pair lasted me a year, they are my every day work shoes. I love the quality and comfort of this shoe, I would highly recommend! Also, I cannot help but gush about the price! You won't find a better price anywhere!

Love these trainers. Unfortunately the style/color combination isn't super stylish. But, they were so comfortable, I kept and love them.

The shoe seems a little too wide. However, I was happy to get the sneakers so quickly. They provide support especially around the heel and side of the foot. No mesh, no foam inside. Perfect for my feet!

I have a lot of issues with my feet, and these sneakers are the most comfortable shoes I have EVER had on my feet! My feet were ecstatic with joy! Initially, I had ordered another pair of New Balance shoes, but apparently I didn't pay attention to the style/design/whatever. They looked like my old shoes and were New Balance, so I assumed they were the same. (I'll know better next time!) Unfortunately, the shoes I ordered were too tight and not as comfortable as I remembered. My assumption was that New Balance quality was going downhill, so I returned the shoes to Zappos. Then I went to Kohl's and bought a couple pairs of Skechers, because someone told me those were more comfortable than New Balance. The cashier at Kohl's told me they were good shoes, but I would likely need to replace the insoles because they go flat after a while. That was concerning. I took the shoes home and wore them around the house. My feet felt hot after a few minutes. This was concerning. I also read reviews about these Skechers on Amazon. Numerous reviewers warned that the bottom of the shoe started separating after a few months! Lovely! I took those shoes back immediately. After that, I went to JC Penney and found a pair of New Balance shoes that fit and were comfortable, but I was disappointed in the price and, oh my gosh, the customer service at JC Penney has completely gone into the toilet! What a miserable experience! Still reeling from the loathsome experience at Penney's, I went online to Zappos and found the exact same New Balance shoe I had just bought at Penney's, and it was cheaper with next day delivery! Sooo, I ordered the shoe from Zappos and zappo! It was on my doorstep the next day! My feet are happy! My wallet is happy! And it was very therapeutic to take those other shoes back to JC Penney for a refund! I will likely never darken their door again! Zappos' customer service beats ALL of the others, hands down! This is the best athletic shoe for me. The size and fit is consistent from purchase to purchase.

My size was not available, so I ordered up a size because I loved the shoe and hoped I could make it work. It was, indeed, too large. The shoe is beautiful and has an awesome memory foam insole. I love the gray and New Balance is the only brand I can wear that has good arch support. I wish my size had been available.

So soft inside! A relief to my feet! Better than the expensive ones for arch support??
