more toe cleavage than I like, but a on trend shoe. the fauxsued is a good quality too. although not too pointy - the toe box is narrow - as expected in a pointy toe shoe.

Very cute but extremely uncomfortable

I tried 3 different brands in lace-up flats, finally deciding on this one in the rose color. I liked this one better because the laces were round cord, making it easier to tie. The design of the lacing is also better, without the bottom of the lace over the toes, which detracts from the design, in my opinion. I wear a 6 Narrow, which is impossible to find, but was able to adjust the lacing to fit my narrow foot because of the placement of the laces at the sides of the flat. I got my normal size 6, but would recommend anyone with a medium or wider width foot to go up a half size or a full size. This was the least expensive of the 3 styles I tried, but it has a better design overall. I don't expect it to hold up as leather would, because this is a synthetic, fabric-type upper material. I bought this as a trendy flat for the summer & early fall.

Like other reviewers, I found these surprisingly comfortable, though I do have narrow feet and wonder how a wider foot would do in these. Many other dressy flats create visual interest by leaving the foot almost totally unshod (I'm looking at you, d'Orsay), but the lace-up feature of these makes my feet feel snug and secure. I bought the shiny black pair, and it's true that the quality isn't extraordinary, which is why this is getting 4 stars overall. A bit of coating flaked off the toe area only an hour into wearing them. But I colored the area in with Sharpie and all is well. Overall, however, these are the comfortable, striking, and easy-to-pair flats I reach for on countless occasions!

I ordered this shoe in Rose Summer and the same style shoe from Steve Madden,the Eleanorr in Rose Suede. I chose the Steve Madden for comfort & color. The Chinese Laundry version is more of a mauve rose color which was fine, but it was not nearly as comfortable and not as flattering to me. But the Chinese laundry version had the better laces since they are actual round shoelaces and not pieces of stitched suede like the Maddens. Overall though the Maddens were much more comfortable. I have a normal foot, not too wide, not too narrow so for me the Madden Eleanorr was perfect.

These were true to size but so uncomfortable. Within minutes of walking in them, I could feel the blisters forming on my toes and the back of my heel. They are so cute (especially compared to the expensive counterpart) but I will definitely not wear them again without bandaids or some tape/cushions.

Very cute shoe, but it runs extremely small. I typically wear at 10.5 M and even the 11 M is too short. I'll have to return them and find another brand.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Spain. The rubber came apart at the toe within a few days. I was walking a lot, but nothing that a shoe at this price point can't handle. Or, at least I thought. I've noticed this with Chinese Laundry shoes - you certainly pay for a cute style, but terrible quality.

The toe box is just too narrow and uncomfortable. I have relatively narrow feet and these will be returned. They fit perfectly lengthwise, but just too tight around the toes.

Thought this was a cute shoe and I have a couple of other pairs by CL, but...these run very narrow and a bit short, plus the strings....I didn't know they were going to be so long and floppy. They look cute on, but NO support and they feel very thin.

These are really cute! Sadly, I had to return them because they're too small. I am normally a size 9 and ordered a 9 1/2 just in case. They were still too small and felt a little narrow.

I was really disappointed in these shoes. They were super uncomfortable! Really small in the toe area.

Previous reviewers mentioned that these shoes were narrow. Since a "B" width is roomy on me, I confidently ordered a pair in my usual size. When I opened the box and saw first-hand just how tiny these shoes are, I actually checked the stamp inside the shoe to see whether or not there had been some kind of mix-up! Way too small and narrow to even fit my toes. I don't think going up a size (or three) would help. Too bad! Cute shoe - designed way too narrow.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOE: This shoe is beyond narrow and small. It can fit a child maybe but definitely not an adult. It is not sturdy and the suede is not of a good quality. I had to give it away to my 12-year-old niece.

Very tiny shoe, for very tiny feet. Narrow, tight, very uncomfortable. I went with another brand.

This shoes are not comfortable. The sole is very think. I have to return it. Not true to size, its very narrow and tight. Poor quality too.
