I got these because I wanted to be able to take my toddler out in the snow...and look stylish doing it! So far I've worn them in snow and slush; in the yard and out to shop. They're comfortable and not too bulky. I did get a size larger to accommodate thicker socks. The only downside I've experienced at all is that my toes seem to get cold after going in the snow. I'm not sure whether that's a shoe issue or a sock issue. Either way, it hasn't really hampered me from using them as I intended.

the boots themselves are super cute, and totally waterproof, but not warm at all, and the grips on the soles might as well be non-existent

I was so looking forward to receiving this Saltwater Duck Boot, but I had a difficult time getting a good fit. At first, I ordered a 9 1/2 which which is normatlly what I order when I want a little extra room. However, even with the side zipper unzipped, I couldn't get my foot inside the boot. I returned to try a size 10. I was so excited when they arrived. It was still a little tight getting my foot into the boot, and even though I was able to get my foot in this time, it was way too big, even with a medium to heavy weight sock. I thought maybe I needed to give the 9 1/2 another shot, but the blue and brown was sold out. Quality does appear to be outstanding the boot well made.

The boots came scuffed in one area. I was told by an employee in chat to get a half size smaller. Ok I did what he told me. These boots are huge on me. I shouldn't have to wear extra socks for a hundred dollar pair of boots to fit correctly. I normally wear a 9. I need an 8.

Shoes are very comfortable and keep water out, but once they are wet I am slipping and sliding all over the place. I was hoping that these would be a good water resistant work shoe for me as I am a dog groomer and tend to get soaked at work, but with having next to no traction once the shoes get wet it just isn't going to work out. Definitely do NOT recommend if you are looking for shoes with good traction.

I wear wide width shoes & boots so these great boots have been returned.

I feel these boots are extremely hard to pull on once they're on they fit perfect Very disappointing

Love the look of the boot; however it is difficult to get on. It is gradually easing up but it has taken several tries working to get this easy to put on my foot..

Cute style, but hard to get on. Once they are on they are super comfortable. Not for wide feet

Great boots, although they are little tight around the ankle , zippers kinda hard to pull up and down.

I really love the style of these boots. They didn't do the best job keeping my feet dry especially if the leather upper got wet. I expected a bit more water proofing at least around the tongue. I conditioner the leather and sprayed with a leather waterproofer after the first cleaning. That helped a bit. The bottom rubber didn't hold up well at all. After the first few wears the rubber started peeling. It didn't affect the waterproofing but then the sole came loose around the edge causing my left foot to get wet. Definitely not a work or hiking boot, maybe an occasional rainy day option.

I just received my 2nd pair today and haven't even wore them, and this green mark was on them.

I live in Atlanta, and it rains a lot. With just 2 days of purchase, I was excited to wear them when it was pouring down rain. However, to my surprise, my toes were cold and decided to remove my shoe to warm up my toes and noticed my sock was damp. I reached inside my boot, and it was wet. I realized these are not rainboots. They're great for winter but not rain. I do love the gold laces. I got a lot of compliments on them.

Very comfortable. Not recommended for work wear. Break down quickly

I wanted to love these boots. Unfortunately I don't find them to be warm at all. My feet freeze. They are also very hard to get on. The zipper is so short and doesn't provide to enough space to easily get them on. I really don't understand all the positive reviews. They do seem well made

Disappointing, strings tied in knot not signature barrel style! Discription says zipper, NO zipper! Read reviews before ordering. Box was destroyed that I recieved them in.

As soon as I opened the box and examined my new boots, they did not look shiny as the online website photo. They are dull and I even suspect I received a pair of used boots as they had scruff marks on them. The real disappointment is wearing them the second day, I tried to tighten the leather shoe lace and it broke. I had to buy a new pair of regular laces.

Got a pair for Christmas to have mainly for winter but wanted something for all weather! Extremely comfortable! Love them! However, the first time briefly in the snow (2nd time wearing them), my feet got wet.

They run big, I usually wear a 9.5 and this is what I ordered and I am drowning in them even with a wool sock.

I bought these for my niece. When they arrived, just like the other rating mentioned, the laces were gold, not the champagne color shown in these pictures. Luckily, she loved them!

My feet hurt the first time I wore them after 30 min, maybe I need to break it in...
