Bought these for my husband, he likes the tall ankle support of these. This is also his 3rd pair of Magnums. His last pair was the tan suede for summer. This one he will be wearing in Michigan winter. Couple of comments about these! The soles get torn up, not very durable. We went hiking in upper peninsula MI and on Lake Superior rocky shores they got pretty beat up! These are also not waterproof! And they are super slippery, so be carful on ice!... But my husband has big wide feet and he likes the fit. So they are good for him. He gets a new pair every year now almost. Picture shoes his last pair, the tan suede ones.

I have major feet problems and these in combination with my own insoles gives me the comfort I need to hold out for long periods of time on concrete and all other surfaces! Love em?

Nice style, lightweight and very comfortable right out of the box.

As with all Magnum products, the Response III side zip is manufactured to the highest standards. I have chronic ankle instability and feel confident in my footing and stable making maneuvers in these boots that would otherwise invite a sprain. With chronic ankle and foot issues, the side zip makes getting in and out of the boots much easier when things are swollen/sore.

My husband loves these boots...buys a pair every few years, uses them to cut the grass. Great ankle support!

I bought these for my son. He thought they were comfortable. The side zip was definitely a plus. They were a manageable weight. The sole was very rigid and the steel toe was not necessary for our needs. What we did want was waterproof and this model is NOT WATERPROOF. (Other reviewers have mentioned that they are not waterproof.) The item and box matched and the box did not indicate waterproof or water resistance, but did have labels for the side zip and slip resistance. There was not other documentation. After an hour of research, we were able to find some webpages that suggest that the Magnum boots need to indicate "WP" to be a waterproof model when available in the various styles. The Magnum Response III 8.0 does have a waterproof model, supposedly #5227-WP, but these boots were #5207 and labeled "SZ" for side zip. I'm sorry to have to return these boots.

These boots arrived on time and were exactly as advertised. They needed very little break in time and were almost immediately comfortable. I haven't put a lot of miles on them yet, as I don't need to wear them daily but they have held up great so far. Highly recommend.

Just right, just what I needed, very comfortable and strong but light. I ordered a second pair just in case they're ever discontinued!

A great boot. Fits right out of the box. True to size with great arch support. Very lightweight, which is awesome. Just what I was looking for. I really like the side zipper too. Highly recommend this one!

Got these to replace my Stealth Force 8.0's. Good quality so far and completely comfy out of the box. Looking forward to putting them through the paces at work!

very good boots with nice style and excellent finish

My son loves these boots! But... the top hook broke off after just a week of wear, so that’s a big bummer.

Did not like. The tops of boots chafed into my legs making it difficult to wear.

Worst Magnums I have ever tried. Toe box is way too large never had a pair of magnums fit like these.
