My son (10 yo) loves these shoes. He's getting picky with styles, and these did the trick. They are super comfortable as well.

Most durable kids' shoe...ever. A year later I'm just getting around to ordering a new pair after a lot of mileage was put on these shoes. Highly recommend.

We love Tsukihoshi shoes. They are great quality, lightweight, flexible and long-lasting. We've been almost exclusively buying these for our twin boys for the last 6 years. The Storm shoe is great, I recommend it!

We tried on the shoes at home, and my son fell in love. A good shoe, and hopefully it will stand up to active kid abuse.

Good kid shoe, this brand cost a little more but seemed to last ~ 2 months longer. My 6-year-old completely wore out the sole but the shoe fabric still looks almost new. I just re-ordered a larger pair, we are pretty happy with this brand so far.

I purchased this shoe twice - one for my petite 10 year old daughter and another for my 8 year old son. This is a fantastic shoe - very comfortable, easy to put on, and washable. In fact, I just threw them in the wash yesterday after a weekend camping. This is one of the few brands that make velcro shoes for big kids. Even though my older kids know how to tie laces, it is nice never having to worry about laces becoming untied and a tripping hazard. These shoes look sophisticated for big kids and function well for regular school wear and PE. I wish they made the Storm in a few more colors, especially pink or purple. My kids wore the Speed style when they were younger. Storm gives a little more arch support. I was worried that the single velcro strap would not be enough, but it seems to be secure enough. I will keep buying this shoe until my kids get to be adults!

We love Tsukihoshi! I've bought them for my son since he could walk. Now he's 8. Every pair I ever bought was excellent. They're high quality, comfortable, easy on/off & they're a roomy fit - suitable for wide width & high instep.

You can't go wrong with this brand. I've been buying for my son since he was a toddler & he still loves them. They're high quality, comfortable shoes that break in nicely & last 'til they're outgrown, even with everyday wear. Works great for a wide foot &/or high instep.

I love this brand! It is very durable. If you have got an active child this is the right shoe. I am going to be sad when my children outgrow this brand.

So far I really like these shoes for my four year old who is very tall for his age. We got size 4½, but he would have needed a 5 in Skechers. He can put them on himself, too! We also ordered a Saucony in a size 5W, and it seemed cheaply made and much harder to get on. These are very flattering shoes - they make his feet look smaller and cool.
I'd also recommend:
sketchers, stride rite, new balance

This is a nice sneaker but it runs so large. I put it up next to other same size shoes and the difference was significant.

We love these shoes. My son wears them every day and the quality is great. We have blue and red pairs and they have lasted a long time of rough use. Plus they are very light weight. They are a little wider than other shoes.

Great for wide width feet! My 6 year old typically wears W (and sometimes XW width) shoes. He has very square-ish feet with higher insteps and a truly wide width...we often lovingly refer to his feet as "biscuits" because of their shape. Makes them cute - but hard to shop for. We often find success with Pediped, Stride Rite wides, etc. But thankfully, these work just as well, and are really good-looking. As a side note: we tried his size, as well as a half-size larger and there wasn't a significant difference. We figured we'll get more mileage with the larger size...you may want to consider trying both the true size and a half size up to see if the same holds true.

Fantastic! Very light weight, durable, wide enough to be very comfortable. Really one of the best sneakers around. My son has these in all the available colors, just loves them. Also, take the insert out, and throw them in the washer - they come out looking like new.

I bought these for my grandson who usually wears Adidas, New Balance or Saucony. He said the toe box area was too tight. He also said the foot bed was "lumpy". I am guessing he is talking about the foot support. He isn't used to have shoes with good arch support. I will return since the toe box area is too tight for him.
I'd also recommend:
Adidas, New Balance and Saucony for wide toe box

My son is 8 yrs old and has a high instep and wide feet. It is very hard to find shoes that he considers comfortable and wants to wear all the time. He's been using mostly Tsukihoshi shoes since he was 3 yrs old. He currently owns 2 pairs of Mako H&L 2, which are soft, flexible and can be thrown in the washer. Both pairs look pretty worn, so I decided to try the Youth Velocity, the Storm and the Youth Storm. We loved the Velocity and are definitely keeping it, but the Storm is going back. My son said it is uncomfortable.

My 7 year old son has wide and flat feet. He also wears arch support. These shoes are great in fitting the arch support and his wide feet and still having wiggle room for his feet. I have purchased other brands (sketcher, NB, etc) and have returned to this brand. He doesn’t complain about aching feet or that his feet hurts whereas he does with the other brands. I’m sticking to this brand for my son.

My son loves how these shoes feel so much that we have only purchased this brand for the past four years. I bought him a cheaper pair of sneakers at a brand name store that had a superhero he loves on them. But he wanted another pair of these instead. My only complaint is that the shoe gives in. When my son walks, the shoe goes towards the center on each foot along the entire length of the foot. I'm sure it's the way my son is walking, but it still shouldn't happen. This is a recent development. So I bought a new pair hoping to correct this!

Very stylish and moderately sturdy. Not the best pick if your child is very hard on shoes, especially the toe of the shoe.

My son has been wearing this brand for years and I live them, but this style started to fall apart within a few months. Maybe he is getting rougher on his shoes as he gets older, but I wish they would have lasted a little longer. So disappointing.
