Great purse! I love a good cross body bag and this one of my favorites. Front zip pocket is perfect for my phone (6plus). And there are lots of pockets inside to organize the rest of my stuff.

Fabulous soft leather but it is more of a cranberry color, not red that I want. Sadly, I will e exchanging.

Great little bag for when I don't want to lug my everyday purse around. Credit card slots are handy, as is the zippered interior pocket. I initially thought the strap was too long, but changed my mind after seeing where it hit after I loaded it up with my stuff (I'm 5'6" for reference). Having another HOBO bag made of the same leather, I know how this will wear and decided to buy the granite instead of a darker color.

Great quality as you would expect from Hobo. The color is a very rich green and has a wonderful worn quality to it that makes it very soft and easy to handle. The tassels are a bit long, so I ended up trimming them a but so they would look a bit more 'normal'.

Bought this purse for a trip to NYC and it was perfect! Fits a small wallet, iPhone, lipstick in the big zip and a compact and lotion int he small zip. Could fit more if you want it to look stuffed. I did not think the tassels were too long. I did adjust the star to make it shorter, but that was not a problem.

Great craftsmanship and the green is a very deep, pretty green. The tassels are a bit long so my husband cut them shorter for me.

The leather isn't quite as soft as I like my leather to be, but the cuteness and functionality make up for it. It's simple and stylish and the perfect size if you're like me and don't need or want to lug around a heavy, giant purse. All of the little compartments are great for keeping my stuff organized and easily retrievable. Here's what I fit in the purse: a cellphone, an iPod, three tampons, two lip balms, four pens, gum, a tiny notebook, a wallet, keys, and an inhaler. Not bad!

This was great until the strap broke.

Great, cute, well made small bag. This is just for the basics - I can fit my wallet, keys, kindle paperwhite, and cell phone and I wouldn't want to put much more in it. Falls nicely on the body. My only complaint is that it's really hard to tell the actual color of the bag in the pictures. I got the bag in Woodlands and Honey expecting them to be a dark brownish red and a brownish yellow, respectively. Woodlands ended up being a very straightforward medium brown color with just a hint of red and Honey was yellower than it appeared. I ended up keeping the Honey since it was a little more unusual.

gorgeously constructed....love how they come out with new colors of this style every year. unfortunately just a tad small for me for an everyday bag.

2nd purse (first in green), nice bag, good feature, weight etc. Got it in the smoke color (this review), thought it looked good here, was trying to match a pair of Naot Matai shoes in a silver/black combo. In reality this pursue in 'smoke' is more of a glittery silver/black, not like it looks online. (shoes look like the purse online). Plus - or rather a negative - the purse in smoke has a horrible odor to it, not sure if it will dissipate or not. May be due to the coloring (I think I missed a similar comment in another review). Returning only for those reasons (color & odor). Need a gray purse....still looking.

Wow, nice bag in leather. Size is just right, not too heavy for a premium leather bag. Zippers (metal) work OK, don't seem to be rough on the hand when reaching in. This is not a large bag, I'd call it between a small & medium size. If you need to carry a lot of stuff, look elsewhere. Hangs nicely because of the way the strap is attached, and the zipper for the main compartment is sewn in at both ends (a pet peeve of mine is those pesky tabs on one end of a zipper). Inside there is a zippered compartment, one slip pocket and 3 card slots. Nice lining, not dark. The outside zippered compartment is also lined with the same cloth lining as the main one, and there is a "baffle" so that the open end is attached. I find the tassels to be a bit long, but they can be trimmed. Debated on getting green (don't see too many green bags, but I have a green coat & boots which match), and the smoke (I have shoes just like that). Decided on the green (nice shade), but may get another ($$ !), but where would I ever find a bag to match shoes I already have? Zappos, of course!

Sadly, this bag was too small for my needs. I like its look and the way it fits along my side. The strap is very long, so I had to cinch it up to make it the right length worn crossbody for my 5’2” height which left a long hanging piece, but that can be tucked into the back pocket of the bag. The strap length will also be good for taller, bigger folks. I thought the color would be more burgundy, but it is definitely purple, still pretty! I just can’t carry what I need to carry, otherwise I would love to keep the purse. Zappos got it to me next day- amazing customer Service!

This was a lot smaller than I expected. I did measure it against my purse I was using and it was very close to the same size but this holds much less than I thought it would. It's very nice and I will keep it but am still looking for an everyday bag. This is more practical for evening use. I have it stuffed and still can't fit my glasses in it.It holds a wallet, checkbook and a few other items but doesn't quite hold everything I need.

This handbag is fine quality, rich leather, etc. no complaints. I was hoping however for more of a berry color that is trending for Spring and this magenta is very dark (more of an autumn maroon than the picture appears). Also the zipper closure is on the narrow side, typical for the style maybe but getting into it bugs me.

Returned this bag in Moss green, when I got it, it seemed OK, but the curved zipper in front proved to be difficult to open. The leather was soft (expected that from Hobo), but all in all, the bag was just too small for what I wanted it for. Returned to Zappos, thanks for the ability to return. Have other Hobo bags, all are great leather, some styles better than others, all well-made.

This is not grey, it is a very shiny silver (with specks of black) and looks cheap. I own many Hobo brand bags and wallets and I think this is the first one I’ve ever returned. Also, as other reviews have noted the top zipper is not on the top seam (as another Hobo I own is) and it makes the zipper difficult to open and the space above it inside the bag is wasted. This bag is also just a tad too small for the Hobo checkbook-size wallets.

The leather is great. However, on my red purse there is a pink ribbon-like edge around the zipper which one cannot really notice in the pictures. Honestly wishing I had returned it but now it's been used several times. I am accustomed to a larger purse so it means taking things out of my wallet to put them in the Hobo. For me, not a very wise purchase.

I love Hobo bags and their quality. This is a great over the shoulder bag and the outside pocket is good. The drawback is the zipper is on the side of the the purse instead of on the top of the fold. It wastes space and makes it harder to get to the interior. The details are nice and the finish of the leather, superb. I was very disappointed.

Love the bag. Unfortunately it was way too small all that would fit was my Lauren wallet so I had to return it. ??

The strap on this bag is ridiculously long. I’m 5’8” and adjusting the strap so the bag isn’t mid-thigh means you have a long tail flopping around. This is a good bag for people over six feet tall! I appreciate the ease of returning to Zappos!

I love it, but there is no way to make the strap short enough to be usable, so I have to return it.

I bought this purse thinking it would be red - doesn't RUBY sound like it will be red? Well, it's a purplish red, not Christmasy at all. I know Hobo makes red bags, but this is not it.

not at all the color represented in photo. it is more of a gray color.
