When I tried the Meredith on in the store I was thrilled they were so comfortable and still are they just don't seem to be lasting as long as I would hope. A little disappointing that I paid 120.00 for them but don't think I will get much time out of them.

I am a hairstylist they are very comfortable to work in . But I have had them only two weeks and the backs are tearing apart. For the price I paid I expected them to last.

These are stiff but seem like they would break in if I could wear them. The fit seems great but the heel slides in the back. I've tried multiple socks and it's like wearing flip flops.

In June of 2017 I bought a pair of the Meredith shoes in the black pewter embossed pattern. I am very disappointed in the quality of the shoes. In the six months I've owned them, the tag on the sole of the shoe has come completely off of the shoe. The pretty grey/black pattern on the outside of the shoe has turned into this awful green color on about half of the shoe. I only work three days a week, so the fact the shoes look this nasty six months after owning them is very discouraging.

I bought a pair of these same ones a year ago, they were the best pair of shoes I ever bought for work, finally had the money to buy another pair, and they have changed. They are very hard. Doesn't have as much cushion as first pair. Also the stores that are listed for my area that sell them, dont... thank god I called before driving an hour..

I've owned 2 pairs of the Meredith style shoes and they both have had the sole start to come off.. the first pair within months the back of the sole was coming off of the shoe and the second pair I've have for about 8 mths and have just had to purchase a new (different brand) pair of work shoes.. I figured for the price they'd last a little longer than a handful of months before they started to wear out.. I only work 2-3 nights a week with minimal walking (I work in a small NICU) 12 hr shifts.. they are definitely comfortable on my feet and loved the comfort, which is why I didn't give it only 1 star but for the price tag I expected them to last a bit.. I've owned a few pairs of Danskos and they lasted well over a year or 2 but were really hard on my feet.. just bummed about these shoes

Initially I loved these but I felt compelled to write an update. They have stretched out so much that I feel like a little girl clomping around in my mom's high heels. It sounds like i am wearing flip flops - only LOUDER - with slap, slap, slap with every step. Certainly not professional! Someone else used the word "sloppy" to describe the fit after wearing them for a while; perfect description! I don't feel stable/safe wearing them out of the house.. They are a pretty expensive pair of house slippers! Would not recommend them in this material - maybe the regular leather would hold up better.

Had great hopes for them, but they just didn't feel all the comfortable when I tried them on. If I could have found them in a store and tried them on for size, I probably would not have bought them. The toe area was too tight and yet the heels slipped. If I'd gotten the wide width, the toes might have been comfortable, but then the heels would have been so loose, I would have walked out of them.

I've worn mine for about 3 months working 3 days a week (12hr shifts). Bottom of shoe started falling apart and I don't understand what could have caused it. Poor quality. I was happy with them until now. Won't be purchasing another. Not worth it. Too expensive for a 3 month lifespan.

I returned the first pair, which was inconvenient due to replacement warranty, and the second pair fell apart again on the sole, it peels off and gets in the way as you walk.

I normally don't ever write reviews but I really felt compelled to do so due to my unpleasant experience with these shoes. I'm on my 2nd pair of these in less than 7 months. On both pair in less than 3 months the bottom soles of these shoes started to "peel/separate" away and almost tripped me several times. Also they stretch out very badly within the first couple months and look old too soon. I couldn't figure it out at first until I inspected the shoes closely but these shoes became a great fall hazard to me so I returned them for another pair after the first 3 months only to have the same issue with this 2nd pair. I'm a nurse who works 12 hour shifts 3 days a week and there is no way I should have experienced this with a so-called "quality" shoe. The 1st pair I thought was a fluke, but this 2nd pair - I'M CONVINCED! No more SoftWalk Meredith's for me! I wish I could attach a photo of the soles of these shoes to show you all..... Wish me luck with finding a better shoe!

I wear these to work 3 days a week. I have only had them for 5 weeks and the sole is coming apart. Very sad.

I saw this shoes at the store, tried it on and loved it but they did not have my size so I ordered it online. My shoes arrived last week and wore it and for some reason I did not get the same feeling when I tried it on at the store. I ordered size 6 which is the smallest size and still big, I'm kinda disappointed !

These shoes worked out and were comfortable for the first two months but after that they became very broken down. I work four 10hr shifts, but am not on my feet the entire time. After 3 months of having these they have broken down so much that they have become uncomfortable. They also do not breath well, so they began to develop an odor after a month. The outsole where the shoes bend at the ball of my feet have also begun to bubble and crack. I was really excited about these shoes when some nurses said they are great shoes. Unfortunately I have not had the same luck, which is unfortunate for the price of the shoes. They are cute shoes, just sad that they do not last longer than 3 months.

I loved the cushioning on this shoe as soon as I put it on. (which is why I wear running shoes at work) I tried on a 7, 7.5 and 8--trying to get more width and toe room. None of them worked. I usually take a medium width, so this was frustrating. I would have bought two pair if there was a little more width or toe height

I bought these at a scrub shop for clinicals in nursing school. I wore them around my house for a few weeks and they really felt great. The fit seemed good. I liked them aside from the heel rubbing. Today was my firt clinical day and these shoes did not live up to my expectations! After 30 minutes my feet were so hot I kept taking my shoes off any chance I got. After 3 hours I had the begining of blisters. By the end of my 8 hour day I was limping. My feet were very swollen. My toes were blue, cold and swollen! My shoes felt a full size too small and too narrow. I will give them one more try but I don't think these are going to cut it. I'm going to have to bring another pair of shoes just in case. Disappointed!

These shoes are comfortable; however, I have only worn them for 1 month and look as if they are several years old. Materials don't compare to the Dansko shoes.
I'd also recommend:

I was thrilled when I first put them and thought they were the best of all the softwalk shoes. However, in a short time my feet started to hurt like they do in other shoes that are not Softwalks.I was so disappointed.

I was so excited to buy these shoes, I had tried on EVERY other brand and this was the only one that was comfortable and easy to walk in for me. I've had these clogs for less than a year and I am incredible disappointed. The seams are all separating around the sole and the shoes have held none of their shape. Not durable at all, my feet slide to the side of the shoe because they don't hold together and I end up rolling my ankles constantly. As a nurse it's important to wear good shoes, these are not the ones you're looking for.

The insole doesn't support my feet well. The tips of my toes took a beating during my 10 hour shift. My feet slid forward in the shoe's all day.

"Roomy". Because if you have nothing good to say . . . These are some of the stiffest shoes I've ever tried on. They showed no signs of wearing in in my lifetime. Back they went.
