This is it for me. My 3rd pair of Professionals, I currently have 5 pair of Dansko in my closet, different styles. I have lower back issues and this is the only shoe that address the problem, I stand for long periods of time at work. The arch fits EXACTLY where my arch exists!

The Dansko Pro XP is a very sharp looking, comfortable shoe. The extra padding in sole bed is a nice addition. Have several pairs of Danskos and you just can't go wrong with these shoes. I have problem with pinched nerves between toes with other shoes I wear but these are just about the only ones I can wear for days without nerves flaring up.

Ordered the 43 (US WOMEN'S 12.5-13)in W and unfortunately it does not fit. Too tight for the width of my foot and my toes felt crunched up against the front while my heel would slip out of them. Sadly, I must return them and continue my search for the perfect work shoe. I wanted them to fit so badly, they are absolutely gorgeous and well constructed. As a bartender and on my feet for 8-10 hours a day, this seemed like the perfect fit. Hopefully it works for everyone else out there.

I love these shoes especially the color. I wouldn't recommend them if you stand all day but overall their great shoes

I wear a size 7 shoe, initially got size (6-7); however, the metatarsal region was not comfortable (seemed the top part of the shoe was too tight). I exchanged for a size bigger. Aside form being clunky I absolutely love these shoes, my feet are not tired anymore! And my lower back feels great! They are supposed to be a bit loose, don't be concerned with the space.

They're a little big and clunky, but so, so comfortable! Totally worth it. I usually wear a 7-7.5 in most brands and went for the 7.5-8 in these. Great fit.

As an Executive Chef with foot problems, back problems, these shoes are the VERY best! I love them. Can never wear anything but these. Please give them a try, you will be amazed. Patricia

I really think these will be great for work and casual wear. They're nice looking shoes, but I'm wondering why so many of you have reported them running small. Mine are a 35, which is stated as the equivalent to US ladies sizes 4.5 - 5. I am a true size 5 and these are big. They're not supposed to slip off your the back of your foot, right? These aren't like the old style clogs with the back out, so I assume they shouldn't slip. I'm going to try putting Inserts in them to tighten the fit because I don't want to part with them. I need them and many more!

Fantastic shoe! I'd had back problems for many years - and nearly had surgery to correct L5/S1 herniated disc. Through lots of good posture, strengthening exercises, and good shoes, I have been largely back-problem free for more than 10 years! These shoes have been a God-send!

I bought these shoes for my wife as a Christmas present, she loves them. She works in a retirement home as a Physical Therapist Asst. She is one her feet all day 9-11 hrs. The 39 I bought were a bit too small so when I called to return them, Zappos sent a size 40 overnight to different address, WOW what customer service. We will order fro Zappos again for sure.

Very comfortable. Excellent arch sport. Keeps my back in alignment. I wore them a short time the first day and gradually wore them longer every day. They were very comfortable but wanted to make sure my back was adjusting to the shoe. They are pricey.

These shoes are very comfortable and support my feet all day long. I have flat feet so these are perfect. My arches do not hurt after a day of work with these shoes. They also prevent back pain. Slip resistant sole is great. The only down side to these shoes is it seems the top of the shoe is wider than the bottom so your foot can rock. But after wearing them a few days you get used to it and they are fine. These shoes did not need wearing in. They wear comfortable right when I put them on.

I love the style and feel of this shoe. Only it does run small. I am going to try to find a size that suits my feet.

I hate to admit this but I had my previous Dansko's for about 8 years. I rotated between three pair. I dreaded "breaking" new ones in. I bought these and they have been comfortable right out of the box. They are considerably lighter which is a huge plus and have an improved arch support. I ordered the same size as my previous ones and they fit the same. I have thrown my three old ones out and I am looking to purchase a second pair.

Super comfy shoe! I couldn't wear the regular Danskos because I have a high instep. The XP fits perfectly. I bought the brown for my fall color scrubs and I love them!

My first Dansko and it did not disappoint. It's heavy, hard to walk down a flight of steps but you get used to it in time. It took about a week for me. It did strengthen my calves so i was able to wear my high heels for longer periods of time.

I have had these a little over a month and absolutely love them. I have tried the cheap Payless version that did not even last a month though they were comfortable, the Skechers version which lasted a few months and I had to use the insoles from the Payless ones for them to not fall off my feet. And now to these that still look brand new! (No scuffs and the leather is holding strong, no seam issues) I tried on my friend's that are not the memory foam and I am glad that I paid more for that. They could be a little more cushioned (I would like to wear pillows if I could) but they are still very comfortable. After standing/walking eight hours doing patient care these are absolutely amazing! You will not regret spending the money.

Best work shoes ever! This is the second pair that I purchased...I bought one pair for myself and one pair for my assistant as a gift.

Comfortable shoe, fits well. I have 3 other pairs of Dansko pro. This was the only pair that I was able to wear on my 12 hr shift without the discomfort of breaking them in. I only wish they came in more colors. :-)

Best shoe ever for servers. Once we found the correct size they were great. Wear a size 9 and ended up with the 39 in a wide. The regular 39 was just too tight and the 40 was too long.

Best shoe ever! After several pairs to find the right fit we got it right. Normal shoe size is a 9 but ended up with a wide in the 39 after going up a size to 40 and finding them too big. The best shoe for a server in the restaurant business.

Very comfortable - no breaking in needed. Also get lots of compliments from everyone at work. I'm on my feet 10+ hours a day and these shoes really cushion my feet.

Great shoes! The padding in these is much better than the last pair I had. They're not squishy like a sneaker, but they're not the hard insole that I expected. A nice balance. They are awesome for my 12+ hour shifts (as a nurse) where I'm on my feet at least 10 of those hours. They also aren't bad for wearing out! I'd buy another pair! I am 8 mo pregnant, so I'm not sure if my feet are a little on the swollen side, making them feel narrow at the top, or if they truly are a little narrow on the top. It's not bad enough to make me stop wearing them though.

These are the most comfortable nursing shoes I've tried. I was skeptical of those excellent reviews this shoes came with - I've tried the other major brands, including the other Dansko and yet I still come home each day after a 12 hour shift with sore and tired feet. I'm glad I decided to try these Pro XP professional as it was the best decision I've made. Shoes are true to size, I'm a size 7.5 in most shoes and I bought the 7.8-8 W and they fit perfectly. There's plenty of toe room. Thank you Zappos for fast and excellent service.
