I actually really liked this dress, though what other people have said about it's tendency to ride down isn't inaccurate. (It's better than riding up, though "down" does tend to make it pretty bag-shaped!) But for a super-packable dress that can be fancied up with just a few accessories, I still think it's a win. Great for traveling I just choose more structured stuff at home.

I agree with a couple of the other reviewers who say that this dress has the opposite problem of most short tight dresses...instead of having to pull it down, you have to pull it UP! It's rather odd looking when it starts slipping down, but if you can get it to stay put, it's super cute. It's very comfortable and fits well, aside from the slipping skirt part.

I wanted to love this dress. The seam for the skirt is too low on the dress. It hits at the mid buttock. Just not sewn right. Had to return.

I had to buy this dress (I actually bought three in different colors) to understand the problem. It could have been a cute dress if it would not have been made wrong. The upper part of dress is super cute and comfortable. The bottom part is the problem. There is an extra bottom piece sewn to the dress, and that piece is just too small. I have other dresses in a similar style, and the piece that is supposed to hug the hips usually starts from lower waist all the way to hemline. This dress is about half that size so it hugs the lower part of butt, so there is no support. Unfortunately I am returning all three dresses.

Really wanted this dress to work out, as I need a simple black tee dress. Alas, it is just weird. If you hike it up high enough for the bottom to fit snugly, like on the model, it is micro-mini...and then if it stretches while you are wearing it (which seems likely, given the fabric) I think it would fall down. When un-hiked, it looks like a sack.

This is a strange dress. I fell in love with the way it looked on the model & I was able to get pretty much the same look at home. However, there is not a defined waist or skirt on this dress - the band on the bottom is a little small to make it into a skirt without the seam hitting you 1/2 way across the butt (as seen on the model when you zoom in). You can get a similar look, but it requires a lot of tugging & constant manipulation of the fabric the whole time it's worn in order for it to stay in place the way you want. It's weird...

I bought this dress in both colors. The black is very easy to dress up to go out, and the tie-dye I wear to run errands with flip-flops. I do not have an issue with the bottom part falling down like some of the other customers. The band has to be pulled up to your bum and it will stay.

Overall I was confused by this dress. It is a very soft cotton material but is really just one big piece of fabric that you could stretch all the way out or pull up to be tight around your bottom. In that case it is very flexible for any body shape and to hide any areas. However, that made me concerned that the dress could ride up or just drop and not look as cute as in the picture when actually out wearing it. The top is also a very wide boat neck so it seemed a little sloppy.

This dress is cute, flattering, and comfortable. However, I found that I had to keep pulling it up because the tighter bottom band-like skirt kept sliding down, which made the dress look like a big, unflattering bag. I love the idea of the loose, blouse-like top and tight skirt, but you completely lose the effect when it slides down. I wore this as a casual daytime dress in Vegas. We did a lot of walking and I had to basically hold it in place the whole time. Maybe I should have gotten the medium instead of my usual large, but I was pretty disappointed with this dress.
