It sadden me to see I can no longer obtain this boot...Have worn for years and would recommend it to everyone that stands on their feet for 10-12 hour days... Arch support is great plus they are waterproof. I wear them with both dress pants and work jeans. Nice, clean, no frills appearance! First time I slipped a pair on and laced them up there was no need to break them in, they fit better than a glove. Have purchased them on-line and in-store....Have never been disappointed until now, my size in no longer available!

I got these boots roughly a year ago as a replacement for the Chukka which fell apart in 6 months. These are the best work boots Ive ever owned. I typically do a lot of manual to light manual labor at work and my boots often get wet. The waterproofing is fantastic especially for Michigan winters and the leather is very tough. In the year Ive had them, wearing them 5 days a week or more, Ive had to replace the laces once. Ive always worn them with an insole since Im on cement all day, so I cant speak to their as-is comfort in that regard, but they don't cause me any discomfort. I did have the unfortunate experience of wearing them hiking once. I am definitely a medium-width boot wearer and the pair I own is "wide". Im not sure if they only come that way, but when Ive checked back a few times medium width is never available as an option. For hiking purposes a snug fit is always better to avoid blisters, but in my day to day, the little bit of extra room allows my feet to breathe. I would be curious to try them in a medium width. The review options ask if the shoe runs wide. It comes in wide, which it is, so I would say it is as advertised.

I bought my husband this boot in the chocolate color. He wears them with dress clothes and looks great! I wish Rockport had the black ones in his size.

Bought these about two weeks ago, so far so good. Great support and nice look for a boot.

I have standardized on Rockport Northfield style as they come in my size (8.5 W), are comfortable, well made, last a reasonably long time, and have a non-slip rubber sole. I also have an occasional need for a high top boot shoe and was happy to see Rockport makes one in the Northfield style. It is basically the dress shoe with ankle protection but with the same size and rubbler sole. Size inventory is a little thin and I ended up with dark brown instead of my usual black but that is a minor concession. If you need a taller shoe with ankle protection but without the steel toe and work shoe sole, I recommend the Northfield Plain Toe Boot.

I have very wide feet and finding comfortable footwear is difficult. I liked the fact that these shoes came in an extra-wide width; most brands do not have nice shoes in my size! These boots are very comfortable, look nice (good enough for work) but are very practical in rainy and cold weather. I could not ask for a better boot.

Bought a yer ago. Size 9.5 Wide. Comfortable, Fit well, and keep feet warm.

Needed a new pair of beater boots, found these for a steal. Have taken them through the snow and on the beach at high tide. 99.9% waterproof, slightest bit of moisture got through, nowhere near enough to regret the purchase. Love these boots, they look great, affordable, comfortable, and best of all, you don't have to baby them. Strong recommendation.

Bought these boots last autumn and they have really been great these last few days as the Beast from the East has descended on the NE coast of England. My feet are warm and dry in the snow and slush and have plenty of grip.

These are the best boots ever purchased hands down. They are still water proof and still look pretty good! Maintenance free.
