This is my fourth pair of Haflingers, but my first pair with the crepe outsole. I sm used to the cork-soled Haflingers, which have always been instantly comfortable and supportive the moment I slip them on my feet. However, my cork soled Haflingers tend to crack and come apart after a year or so, and I would like my slippers to last a bit longer than that. When I first put the Norways on, I was sure that they were going back. They felt wide, a little heavy and a bit short, and I did not like the way that they gaped around the top outside edge of my feet. My husband thought they looked cute on and encouraged me to give them a few days (I think he is sick of shoe boxes piling up in our house filled with shoes that are not working for me and need to be returned!) I am so glad that I waited a few days and wore these around the house. While the Norways have less arch support than their cork-soled cousins, they have more bounce and give as you walk. They seem more flexible and my feet feel great in these, despite hours standing on tile and hardwood flooring. The construction also looks superior, which is the main reason I decided to try this style. They are cute to boot, and I love the little knit cuff. I purchased the charcoal, and think they are going to camouflage stains well. They have stretched out a bit in length, conformed to my foot, and the wider foot opening no longer bothers me. I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom in upstate New York, on my feet all day, and constantly on the go. I really needed a durable, comfortable, warm pair of house shoes that moved with me and looked good after lots of wear. I am thrilled to say that I think I have found what I have been looking for! I always wear a size 37 and that is what I ordered. My feet are not narrow, but not wide either, and while not entirely flat, I have fairly low arches. If you are on the fence, I would encourage you to give these a try, but maybe be prepared to wear them around the house for a few days while your feet get used to them. I cannot wait to put these on when I get home from running errands and take these with me when I go to other people's houses as I do not want to be without them!

Such a comfortable shoe! I wear them everywhere. The footbed seemed wide to me, at first. But then I realized it was probably because I've been wearing shoes that fit poorly, for way too long!

I bought these shoes as a gift and the reciprocate loves them. A well made comfortable shoe or slipper. Don't get them wet!

My first pair of Halflingers. Love them! A little pricey but you get what you pay for when it comes to good support. Hard to find in a slipper style. Plenty of wiggle room for slightly wide forefoot. Seem very well made. I hope they last long enough to justify the price.

I bought these for my wife as a gift and she LOVES them! She said they are comfortable and a great house shoe or for casual wearing out. Great construction and worth the price!

Get them while they last. I found out these are discontinued by the manufacturer. But they are really great. The sole is non slip and the support liner actually comes out for modification and/or replacement of an orthotic. Why discontinue it then? I don't know. They're great and true size too.

I love this slipper. I have as many 8 1/2's as I do 9's in my closet and I ordered a 39 in this slipper and it fit perfect. My feet are more wide than narrow so I'm not sure this would work as well for those with narrow feet. Only had for a couple of weeks but I can't wait to put them on at the end of the day. I personally would wear these with jeans if I had to run to the grocery store,; they don't really look like a typical ladies bedroom slipper. For me they are more like a comfortable clog that can be worn as a slipper, but I don't know how long they would hold up if you wore them day in and day out. If you are looking for slippers that have a soft and cushy insole, this isn't the one but it is very comfortable with good support. The slippers with cushy insoles don't really stay that way long.

Comfy and cute! I just love these slippers with their subtle sweater and stitching details. They are my "inside shoes", so I wear them almost all of the time, since I work from home. They are pricey, but worth every penny!

Love these! At first, I was worried they looked too wide but I find no problems with that now and actually like the look it gives. I had a weird little foot pain and these are so supportive that my foot has healed (I think I was running around shoeless too much all summer). These are pricey but hoping they'll last a couple of years so I save money on buying a new pair of slippers every year.

With the start of winter I decided to go on the quest for a good pair of slippers, and though UGG was my first choice, after learning that are made overseas, opted for these.
I was a bit worried seeing the reviews of other models of this brand, about the fit. Also worried thinking that since they are made out of wool, could be itchy. Well, the fit like a glove and are absolutely true to size. They don't have as much arch support as Birkies, but still they have enough. Are extremely comfortable and don't itch at all. My feet don't sweat, and are so comfortable to wear that at times I forget I am wearing anything at all.
They look lovely and feel lovely. I have no idea why I never ordered anything like this before. They are warm and just uber comfortable. Perfect for cozying up at home in the winter. A great buy!
Just as a last note, I am a 7 1/2 in Birkenstock... And order a 7 since they don't have half numbers, and was just perfect fit. So don't go a number up if you are like me a half number. Go down.
These are made in Ukraine. Not Germany, but not China.

These are very warm and comfortable. However, the insole on the left shoe came loose on the first day that I wore them and began to slip out of the back of the shoe. After stopping to push it back into place every few minutes I finally superglued it back into place.

My Haflinger Norways arrived today. They look really well made are are really cute. I normally wear size 7M and sometimes 7 1/2M, but this pair of size 38 (7M) is much too big for my feet -- overhanging the back of my heels by a full inch. The width is roomy but not gaping on my medium-width feet. The arch support is fair to good and the construction and materials look like very high quality, so I will exchange them for a size 6 and see how they feel. Unfortunately the 6 is not available in the "earth" color, but the charcoal gray look nearly as cute.
