Customer Reviews Hunter Kids Original Kids' Gloss Rain Boots (Little Kid/Big Kid)

I bought these for my granddaughter and they are great rain boots, well-made and true to size. Also on sale which is hard to find. My only comment is about the reviews. I read them when I buy kids shoes and I get really tired of reading all of the reviews from adult women who buy kids sizes. Nice to know this works for people but reading review after review from grown-ups wearing the products when you are trying to buy for children is annoying and not helpful.

I wear a WOMAN'S size 7. The adult Hunter boots are HUGE on me and my legs swim in them. I bought a kid's size 5 and they fit PERFECTLY. AMEN!! Now I actually have a pair of boots with a normal circumference- the adult sizes are like wide-width. THANK YOU!!

I order this boots in at size 5 (I am a 7 in women) but I followed what everyone was saying here and they fit perfectly! They are actually a little lighter than the women’s version. I also order the short ones and I am not disappointed!

Size 4....black gloss color I have been wanting Hunter boots for years but did not want to spend the money. I am short at 5'1 and wear a size 5 shoe so I was worried the women's would be too big and too tall on me. After reading the reviews I reliazed the Hunter kid's boots would be the better option and much less expensive. These boots are awesome. The quality is amazing. Mud, water, slush etc don't get in and your feet stay dry. The boots are the perfect height on me at mid calf. The only negative is that the boots can get cold so wearing them in the snow is NOT something I would recommend. The boots can cause cold feet when wearing them in cold water, mud and slush. That problem is easily solved by wearing warm socks (fleece, wool, etc). Hunter also sells fleece boot socks to wear too. A little note about the colors. My first pair are the red gloss ones. The pictures make them out to be this bright fire engine red. The red is more subdue and not as bright as I would like. Yet i still love them and get lots compliments on them. The black gloss one which is my second pair is awesome and the gloss finish makes it the prettiest black shade.

I'm a Womens size 7 and ordered these in a size 5 youth. Perfect fit! They're very good quality, comfortable for rubber boots. I've had them a few years and they're still going strong!

Perfect! A My 7 year old daughter loves these. She went from the short Hunter to these tall ones and the color is precious in person!!

I'm a women's 7.5/8 and I'd seen reviews saying women who wear a 7 could fit this kids' size and I was trying to squeeze in because they're so much cheaper than adult. Alas, they were too small. SUPER CUTE though and I really wanted them to fit. My gripe about the comfort is that there is no lining at all in the boot so when I wear them in summer rain showers, I don't want to have to wear a sock and my foot sticks to the rubber interior making them extremely difficult to get off (same for adult boots as I ordered them too).

My daughter is in between size 3 and 4. The 4 is huge and much taller than the 3. I really wish 1/2 sizes were available. Back they go.

My 8 year old daughter wears a size 4 Nike sneakers. I ordered the size 4 hunter boots and they were a good fit with extra room to grow into them.

So cute! I’m a true women’s size 6, and the size 4 fit great. I would size up if you plan to wear thick socks. Also, I’m 5’ tall, and these are a perfect height on my legs. They are about an inch or two below my knees, which I’m fine with, because I hate when boots hit my knees when I’m walking! The hyper pink color is a beautiful warm neon pink, the photos don’t do it justice!

My daughter loves the color(military red). She says it feels comfortable and fits just right. She wants to have a little bit of room for socks later on so I am exchanging this one for a bigger size. Btw,the customer support was excellent. We will continue to use Zappos!

I bought these boots for my daughter, we do a lot of creek wading and fishing, she didn't want thick camo boots, so she picked these, I have the same ones in black. These are very dependable and stylish, they can withstand a lot of use and are made well. From the woods to the city, these boots ROCK!

These are great for the mud, just spray them off!
