These are the best uniform shoes for little girls! The capped toe is great for uniform shoes, finally shoes that will hold up to recess! My little girl has been wearing her pair since September to school everyday and it is the only pair of shoes that she has kept without the usual scuff marks across the toes. She likes the bows and the extra inserts that come Pedipeds are good for accommodating growing kid feet.

These are my daughter's school shoes; the comfort of a tennis shoe married with the cuteness of a Mary Jane. The rubber bumper on the toe is rugged enough for a playground romping six-year-old, and has definitely extended the life of this shoe. The super-flexible sole makes for happy feet and a happy mom.

These are great alternative to sneakers for school, for "dressy" girls who still want to climb monkey bars and race around. We love that Pediped shoes are sized by a range - each pair has inserts that adjust it to a smaller size, just remove them as your little one grows. It means they are well worn before the little ones outgrow them and makes it worth spending a moderate amount on these. Plus, they are machine washable.

The shoe fell apart after only 18 days. I bought these for my daughter to wear to school. She said they were comfortable and she liked the style. Unfortunately after only 18 days of wear, the sole separated from the shoe at the toes and peeled back. See attached picture. I would NOT recommend these shoes and, frankly, am shocked that it fell apart so quickly.

I was expecting better quality for Pedipeds! The shoe just looked cheap and didn't have a good feel to them. I loved the look and loved the toe cap for scuffs, but overall fit was disappointing. As the foot bends, the shoe would leave gaps and the ridge on the back was too high for my daughter's foot, so they're going back. The foot bed also was loose-which was the first I've seen on Pedipeds! Overall love the brand, hated this style.

Perfect black mary janes for a little girl, classic!

This purchase was the 3rd time I bought these shoes as my granddaughter's school shoes. They meet her dress code, but more importantly she loves them! Although they are pricey for kids shoes, worth it because she cannot wear them out and will not ever fuss about wearing them (She is a 1st grader and has been wearing them since preschool.) When given a chance to wear tennis shoes for school dress down day, she prefers these. Extra perk is that they come with removable sole inserts (plus a spare one) so it is easier for child to get comfortable fit.

My daughter loves the look of these shoes. She hasn't worn them much, since they are fir school, but she said they're very comfortable. I think the rubber toe is a great idea because she always scuffs up the toes.

This shoe is the best out there for a private school environment where the kids are very active. I normally go thru 3-4 shoes a school year because they wear out so quickly. These haven’t shown a ding yet and it’s been a few weeks. So far so great!

Loved it! My daughter who has wide feet only complained the first day, but after she broke into them has been very comfortable. Love the bottom of the shoe! They're like sneaker/shoes.

We have bought Pediped for years for school uniforms and have been so pleased. This shoes is no exception. It is supportive enough for running and playing while velcro keeps shoe in place and prevents slipping. We will definitely be buying these again.

Awesome school shoes! These are durable and look brand new after a month. My daughter usually tears shouts up the first day. She loves them too, which is a bonus. Adorable with her little uniforms .

I bought these last winter for my daughter after she outgrew the patent leather pair and they were no longer available in her size. Although I like the look of the patent leather ones better because I think they are more dressy looking (she goes to a school with uniforms), these were still excellent! The rubber toe made it impossible to scuff the shoe. Pediped styles are my favorite for her because they look dressy but have a sneaker bottom so she can run around on the playground with the rest of the kids. She wore a size 1.5-2 and the 33 was perfect!

These shoes are stylish, comfortable and durable. The rubber tipped toe makes them wear much better than other Pediped Mary Janes. My daughter wears them all year for a school uniform. Be warned that although the shoe does not run narrow, it does seem to be a narrower *style* which is why we like Pedipeds and StrideRites vs say, Keens.

This is the second pair of these that I have bought for my daughter. She has grown out of her first pair and her school uniform requires black Mary Janes. Aesthetically I am not crazy about the rubber toe accent but it is also the reason I buy these. My 7yo plays hard and these hold together well and still look good after many recesses.

My daughters wear these as their school shoes. They are comfortable and durable. The soles make them functional for PE and recess, but they still have the cute look of the Mary Jane in the upper, and reinforced toe has doubled their average lifespan.

Great school shoes for my 5 year old starting Kindergarten with uniform. Flexible sole, good for playing, climbing etc. Only a couple weeks in but feeling that they are great.

These shoes are the best that I have ever bought for my little one. Make sure to order one size up because they provide an additional insert. I ordered these for my daughter to wear at daycare, 10 hours a day. The feet seem to be able to breath better than with our previous shoes, not as smelly at the end of the day. Zappos lived up to the promise and delivered within promised timeline - two days at no extra charge.

Love these shoes! Pediped really makes a quality product. I especially love the scuff guard on the toe to keep the shoes looking nice longer!

These shoes are very cute. I showed them to my daughter online and she said she liked them. She also liked them when she tried them on. They seem like they'd be very versatile with jeans and dresses/skirts, as I was specifically looking for something like that. I'm not sure they'd provide as sturdy of protection on the playground and riding bikes as I'd like though so now I'm leaning towards our staple... the Dakota Mary Jane sneaker by Pediped (which I provided a review for - love them; have had 3 pair so far!). What I wish was more clear is the color description for the "red/burgundy" shoes - which is why I ranked 4/5 for style. The short video of the shoes shoes a very bright pink shoe so I assumed the burgundy I selected would look more pink. When they arrived they were more red than burgundy (especially in LED lighting), which doesn't coordinate with my daughters clothes as well, so I'm sadly returning. I'd consider trying the purple if they had it in my daughter's size.

My little girl just loves these shoes! They are very flexible and she said she can run and play in them just like a tennis shoe. I love them. My little girl has wide feet and high instep. Hard to find shoes that fit her. These are perfect! The reinforcement across the toes still looks dressy and no scuff marks! Holding up great! I will be ordering these again in different colors and when she grows out of this pair!

Great shoes for my 4 year old. She can slip them on and off very easily, they're sturdy and comfortable for her. And adorable.
