This is a substantial, beautiful, and highly functional bag. My husband works in the front office of a major league baseball team, so his work environment flows between business casual and business serious. This bag goes from board meetings to the playing field with panache. He loves it for practical reasons, I love it because he looks like a stud when he's carrying it. Many of his co-workers have admired this bag and asked where he got it.

Amazing bag. Sexy. I saw a man in Trader Joe's wearing this bag over his shoulder, and I stalked him, looking for the label. So good looking! I had to have it as a "Congrats" gift for my husband's promotion! Outside pockets, both slip and zippered, laptop sleeve, inside pockets. Wish it came with a leather strap instead of canvas, or maybe both, to mix it up! Expensive, yes, but timeless, and will last a lifetime. Wonderful quality.

Exactly what I wanted, exactly what was promised. Quality is exceptional, style is perfect for me. This bag has a rugged look, but fits in with business attire. Plenty of room without looking like you are packed for vacation. Made in USA which is important, and I can tell will last.

I absolutely love this bag, I got it as my daily briefcase for work to replace my previous leather one. Outside zipper compartments were a must for me, that's where I like to keep my wallet, cell phones, security badge, and other small items that I need frequent and easy access to. I also insisted on carrying handles, not just a shoulder strap, so that eliminated messenger bags. In the end, this was the perfect blend of style and function. Big enough for a laptop, tablet, lunch, and change of gym clothes if I want, but small enough to easily carry every day. Overpriced bundle of cotton & zippers, you say? Yeah, it's pricey, but I take care of my things, and with the Filson name I'm confident that this will easily last me 10 years or more, both from a quality and style standpoint.

My first Filson and I couldn't be happier. The roomy main compartment, two exterior zipper pockets, and fantastic look & feel of this bag made me pick it over several others I considered. I take this to the office every day; the exterior zip pockets hold my wallet, keys, cell phones, and access badge securely while keeping them easily accessible. The main zip compartment is big enough for me to carry lunch and gym clothes/shoes. It is also divided, with two open pockets on one side and padded on the other half for safely carrying laptops or tablets. One large open pocket on the back of the outside is perfect for stashing a newspaper or magazine. The "tin" cloth (wax treated heavy cotton) is extremely soft and looks fantastic. All this, and with the Filson heritage and "made in America" to boot.
