I purchased a pair a couple months ago, and now the right boot started squeaking loudly. I returned them to the store with receipt and they gave me another pair without issue. Now, new pair both boots are squeaking! Store owner says it must be the shank and that several people have retuned this boot. Love the look and feel but the squeaking is killing me! Other than the squeak, this is an amazing boot.

I bought these as a birthday gift to myself in November 2018. All was great with the boots - comfortable, looks good in town and at the barn. Sometime in January 2019, the left boot began squeaking. Only on hard floors - no squeak on dirt, or at least that I could hear with livestock and other outside noises around. These boots live the dream - being worn by a real cowboy! Horses, cows, mud, various critter "discharge", etc. Cleaned up wonderfully and looked brand new after a little mink oil. Just yesterday the right boot began to squeak. I can wear these as chore boots but for the price it would be nice to wear them full time. The question is Ariat - what are you going to do for me? Don't forget my "pain and suffering" compensation.

I purchased a pair about a month ago. I loved how they looked and they were comfortable but after 1 day of wear, the left boot began to squeak loudly every step I took. It would squeak on every surface (concrete, carpet, wood floors, tile, etc.). I figured it was just a defect and exchanged them for another pair. I received the second pair and BOTH boots squeak! I am extremely annoyed because I do not expect for an expensive, brand new pair of boots to sound like I am walking on squeaky toys! I was under the impression that Ariat was a quality boot but I guess I was wrong. I will not buy another pair!

I bought these boots and after less than two months the shanks in the boots broke and caused an unbearable Squeak. . They didn't provide enough arch support and always caused me to have sore feet. If you wear boots 100% percent of your life they need to be comfortable and last... I'm going back to Twisted x for this reason. My wife and daughter are happy with their Ariat boots.. So buy for your foot
