Its a nice boot, exactly what youd expect from the brand but for a work boot the leather up high is really very soft so Im not sure how itll hold up

Boot is quite comfortable and until they fell apart, I thought these were a high end boot.

Been using Ariat workhog for about 15 years. They stopped selling my favorite because of its light flexible leather which was the aged bark color. The darker earth color leather workhog is not as flexible. Glad I decided to try out this groundbreaker boots because they are lower heel and flexible thick leather. Time will tell if the bottom flex area will separate like the workhog but it looks more strongly bond together. The cushion and fit is really close to my old favorite the aged tree bark and better than the dark earth. I wish they made a boot for hot weather with less inside lining and more toe area. Those are the only two reasons I gave it four instead of five stars. I ordered EE because I think it fits a little snug.

Excellent work boot with steel toe
that is comfortable enough to wear all day. These boots are hard to find in retail stores so I am thrilled to have found Ariat online. Thanks Ariat!

Great boot, excellent fit. Took sometime to break them in. Like the short heel. The sole did come unglued.

I work in a factory fabricating sheet metal standing on concrete floors for 10 hour shifts. I purchased these steel toe boots from Cavenders as a necessity for my job and have used them for 80+ hours. So far they have been very far from comfortable. I have 2 other pair of Ariat boots that Ive never had any issues with but these are beyond uncomfortable and Im looking at purchasing a different brand of boots for work!

About a week for break-in then theyre like slippers! Toughest and most comfortable steel toe boots Ive worn and Ive tried them all. I dont do laces so needed a pull on boot. I was so impressed with my first pair Im now on my second and I wear these 6 days a week for 10+ hours a day. Ive had the first pair for 18 months, theyre still very wearable but getting close to replacing. I will continue to buy the Groundbeakers as long as Ariat continues to make thembest work boots Ive had!

Great boot, be aware though if you have size 14, your foot still may not fit past the cuff. At that size I was expecting a little more room. But if I get the wide, I'll pretty much be a rodeo Ronald McDonald

I needed to change to a work boot without laces as my back just couldnt take the bending over 5 times a day to tie my laces. I went with this steel toe cowboy boot and I couldnt be happier. Break in was about 6 days and after that, this boot was super comfortable. I run a metal fabrication shop and Im on my feet 50 hours a week. On a concrete slab. So far so good with durability and comfort. I wear a size 10.5 sneaker. I went with a size 10 Ariat and the fit was perfect.

I use them bc they are very comfortable I am on my feet 10 hours a day. My feet dont hurt at the end of the day. I am an X Ray tech and always on different outdoor terrain I would recommend these boots to anybody who likes comfortable boots and if you dont like them you can return them for free. Thx for reading my comments on them

Anyone that works in any type of construction knows that work boots honestly dont last more than a year anymore. Ive had high end boots in the 400 dollar range that have lasted a year and everything in between. I oil boots on occasion (who has time to do this every day or even weekly) and treat the boots as good as possible when working. So I bought these boots because they had no material to rip out and extra stuff to go wrong on them. And they were cheap. SOMEHOW they lasted me 2 1/2 years. I will say at 2 years the sole did come lose and I glued it back and kept going. So I may have gotten lucky with my first pair but Im on my second now. Recommend buying a pair of insoles that match your arch if you want to really have added comfort unless you like the ones that come with it. The stock ones are fine I just have an high arch. Quit buying the expensive boots and get these they last longer and are better.

I have had these boots for about 5 years and they have been solid weekend work boots that have taken a beating. In the last year, the souls of the boots have begun to delaminate. Some glue fixed them for now. The rubber is starting to crack in a few spots but this has not affected its functionality.

Seems a bit tight for an EE, and not sure how much of the boot is leather. Over all so good so far.

I work highway construction and boots typically don't last very long. I would regularly replace other brand boot every 3-6 months. With these ground breakers boots I replace them every two. The first pair I purchased lasted longer than two years but the wear on them really started showing after two. But I would highly recommend these. Great boots that are comfortable after breaking them in after a few days.

A gift for my husband and he loves them. They advertise soft leather but they seem to be very stiff so he keeps stretching them out. Likes them anyhow.
