Fantastic boot. Frye quality, fits perfectly, just right on my calves. The leather is soft and beautiful. The height, just to my knee when folded. Ordered an 8.5, usually a 9 in any other brand. Just need to wait for colder weather.

Love! I purchased these to replace my older Ugg Brooks boots. They are awesome! Love the higher shaft, and smaller calf circumference. Perfect for leggings or skinny jeans. They are pricey, but they are Fryes, you know you will have them for a long time.

These boots are gorgeous, very comfortable but I had to return them since I live in the South and they would be too warm. I'd say perfect for Northern states!

Overall, I love these boots. They aren't exactly sexy boots, so if that's what you're going for keep shopping. If you're looking for an everyday boot that will look great, be comfortable, and keep you warm stop right now and buy these. This is the first time I have ever paid this much money for a pair of shoes, but it was worth every penny. I'm hoping that with care they will last for many years. I'm usually a 9.5 but ordered a 10 figuring it was a winter boot and I would have heavy socks on. But the shearling makes them a snug fit and I'll only need a thin sock. I think eventually that will change as I wear them in. There is very little arch support in these boots, that's not a negative for me but it could be for others. The boots were ready to wear right out of the box, no stiffness or spots that rubbed (although you can feel the zipper, so socks are still a must). They have a slouchy, kind of boho, esthetic that will work for weekends. Depending on your outfit, could be dressed up or down.

I can't get over how much they look like a grandpa Santa boot. Very unattractive leather. Looks recycled, as if Frye was trying to hide subpar leather by painting it an odd color and then calling it "distressed." Simply tuck to the whole line. Even in sale it's overpriced.

I loved the boot style. However when on and zipped, the zipper buckled and was pushing into my calf, making it uncomfortable to wear. I had to return them right away.
