I received grey & tan. Ordered in my normal frye size, fit perfect. Love adjustable buckles to custom fit. Grey is more of a mushroom color. They are very comfortable. I'm so happy I ordered 2 colors. I know I will be enjoying these for many years. Can't wait to wear with shorts & jeans tucked in these awesome boots. Trust me you will get compliments.

I love Frye boots...they are always worth the money. These are very true to size, I usually order 1/2 size down and had to return them for my true size of 8 1/2. They are super cool. Dress them up or down. Bought the Walnut Montana Stone, beautiful color. I am very pleased, and they look like none other I have seen out on the streets! When trying them on, unbuckle the buckles.

I bought these boots in the saddle and they are very cool! The distressing is very evident on this boot, which gives it a rugged appeal. I really love the gold buckles as this makes the boots very versatile. The fit is snugger than other Frye boots I have purchased recently (both were Vera's) but after loosening the buckles, they feel good! I have gotten all kinds of compliments, from hipsters to my 80 year old mom!

I bought these in black and LOVE them! Sure they are stiff and heavy, but that's what I like about them. They have an Attitude! I plan to wear mine with cropped pants or skirts and black tights.

Oh the agony. These are so pretty but they were so uncomfortable. The heel is a little too high and puts a lot of pressure on the ball of the foot. No cushioning either, unlike Frye Veronica styles. In person, the ankle part is way bulkier than the photos, and I have skinny ankles.

This was my first time purchasing a Frye boot. I was hoping to have a long lasting, comfortable, and sturdy boot. It is clear this boot could have worked, it is well made and sturdy, however, there is a black polish like finish on the bottom of the sole, which proved to be slippery, when simply walking around in the house to test the fit. After reading several reviews I purchased the 8, I usually wear a size 7 1/2, the fit was fine. Unfortunately I didn't like this boot in the black color. Considering the slippery bottom, the color, and the price, sorry to say I will be returning this style. I'll try another Frye boot.

These boots are very stylish and versatile, although a bit heavy. But they do the job and keep my feet warm and dry.

i so badly want a bootie w/a bit higher shaft... but this one wasn't good for a skinny leg or foot... I could have more holes put in to tighten up the straps but it's too bulky and i looked like Olive Oil... LOVE the style but not on me.

Such beautiful boots, so well made. Narrow in the toe though, so had to return them.

This is my 2nd pair of Frye boots. My first pair was extremely comfortable and I could wear them all day from the first day. These are going to take some time to break in. They are beautiful and I get lots of compliments but it seems that the right boot is much tighter than the left. All in all, I love the look and will continue to wear.

These boots are super cute! The buckles make them adjustable for a nice fit around the ankles. The boot is heavy with the stacked heel, but doesn't affect the comfort for me.

I bought these in the fatigue and they are a gorgeous color. So dark they could almost look dark grey or black. But have that hint of olive. I did find them a little bit hard on the feet and would need soft insoles in them if I were wearing them and doing a lot of walking. Not as confortable as some Of my Frye - but they sure look good.

I like the look of these boots, everything is good but don't like the stiff insoles very much, not quite comfortable. Anyway, I managed to fix that by buying Dr. Scholl's insoles to put in every pair of Frye's I have and that helps. But wouldn't it be even greater if The Frye Company could add some more comfortable insoles to the boots/shoes? That would be perfect, I personally think.

These boots are beautiful and incredibly well made. I'm a small 6 and often can size down to a 5.5, but I'd probably get a 6.5 in these if I wanted to wear thick socks. However, my past experience with Frye has been that they always stretch out quite a bit. Alas, I didn't like where they hit my leg - right above the ankle - making my already short 5'2" frame look even more stumpy, so I'm returning.

These boots are really gorgeous. The craftsmanship is second-to-none, consistent with Frye products in general, and comparable to BedStu (another great brand for high quality distressed-look leather products). With that said, they are not the most comfortable boots I've ever worn, especially for the price. The right boot feels a full size smaller and more narrow than the left. There is virtually no cushion on the ball of the foot, so I recommend inserts of some type. I really thought about sending them back but in the end I just couldn't part with them, and am hoping that they will stretch a bit with time and wear. I got them in the Saddle Montana Stone Wash, and it's a beautiful color - lovely burnishing, not too orange - and I really want them in the Walnut and Black as well. Hopefully the goofy sizing in the right foot was just a fluke in the pair I received.

I ordered these in Walnut and love them so much, I'm going to order in black as well! The height they give my 5'3" frame is a bonus :)

I waited quite awhile for these boots as the size 9 in black sell out quickly. I have two other pair of Sabrina double buckle, one in tan(comfortable right out if the box) and one in brown-- this pair was too tight out of the box but only took several days to break in. The black pair, which I just recieved, were so small they actually hurt my entire foot. Sending them back was a no brainer but still a boot heartbreaker! My Sabrina lace ups are super comfortable so I am going to get a pair of those in black. Frye boots and shoes are my absolute favorite brand.

Nice shoe. Stonewash finish sometimes weathered look intended, sometimes excessive resulting in deep pits and gashes in heels and or leather.

They looked so good in the picture. The foot bed fit really well, however, the ankles are extremely wide. They cannot be tightened enough to overcome this (I suspect that because there is no give in the ankles tightening them would render you unable to walk in them). They are also really heavy. I have other Frye boots, and they do not feel like weights on my feet.

was hoping this will be the ones. Have tried a few Frye boots but cannot seem to be comfortable . One boot the heel inside padding one not made right as the other one. Will try another brand.

Anyone game for a heavy, uncomfortable boot? The Sabrina looks good but feels bad. Just a little walking and my arches were achy! OH WELL... Wish I could trade them for the "Kelly Belted Tall by Frye.

These are beautiful. I get compliments from total strangers. I love the style with skirts and pants. On the negative side, they leave a lot to be desired in terms of comfort. They have no arch support whatsoever; and because of the heel height, the balls of my feet are tired and sore at the end of the day. I think they would still be beautiful if the heel were just a tad shorter, and they would feel so much better.

I got these and will return. I love the style....however, there are too many problems. The leather is thick and so stiff, you have to undo the buckles just to put them on which defeats the purpose of the zipper. I think cheaper leathers are hard and this seems to be the case. It's not suitable for a human foot unless you get the boot in a too big size....then you could get the boot on and off just using the zipper. Secondly, the zipper on right boot is sewn badly and gets stuck/is chewing up the leather. It will only zip halfway up. Totally broken. It's a shame that the production details couldn't have been worked out because this it a great looking style. The sole and stacked leather heel are nice. I guess my search for an ankle boot will continue....
